I just got mine and after playing around with it these are the controls: -1 tap = pause/play -2 taps = skip forward/backward -3 taps = volume up/down -hold (short) activate assistant -hold (long) turn off/on **Q: Are these good for phone calls?** A: I have been using mine for about one week. The sound quality is great - both for me and for the caller. I have experienced some difficulty in learning how to operate them however (I've never used them before). I have unintentionally hung up, not been able to answer a call, etc. I think this will get better as I keep using them. I'm still very happy with my purchase. **Q: The small silicone tip is still too big. Are there smaller ones I can use?** A: I had the same problem. While this pair of earbuds came with 4 options, none were small enough for my ear canals. I ended up buying AXLCD 16 piece ear tips from AMAZON. This gave me many more options. However, I had to alter the smallest option so they would fit into the charging case. It's something you are going to have to patiently play around with. Even with this, the option did not end up working for me. I simply could not keep them in my ears. I had to purchase earbuds with a secure ear piece. Please know these earbuds provide incredible sound! Battery life is wonderful. The charge case is great and I can get about a weeks use (plus or minus a while) out of the charging case. These are not noise canceling a but they do have great active noise reduction. I find its the right amount of reduction to enjoy your own media, mostly tame down the noise at the gym, all while still being able to walk down the road and drive a car and still be able to hear everything going on around you safely. The call quality is great with no shouting from me or muffled sounds from the caller. For my music and streaming needs these have more than done wonderful. The things I don't like. My waxy ears. These earbuds have a couple small holes, not the main part that goes in your ear, that likes to get plugged up with wax, as well as the contact charging spots on the bottom of the stem. They are not great at the gym because the touch controls like to activate with some sweat. You also have to be carful on the phone if you are adjusting them so you don't hang up on your calls. overall.... my ears are not the manufactures problem and I love these earbuds. In the entire reason Im writing this right now is I just ordered a new pair so I could have a back up if and when these inevitably die.
