is this unit used and does it come with the original factory 3 year warranty?

I purchased mine new on Amazon from Electronics Expo, who is based out of New Jersey. As you are probably aware, this receiver is hard to find in stock. I would only buy this receiver new. The price to purchase new should be $2,199.99. The receiver comes with a 3-year warranty, but if you register the receiver through Yamaha, the warranty extends to 5 years.

will this receiver be enough power to not clip at high volume using rf7 iii? with this receiver?

Almost every amp will clip if volume is maxed out, it's a pretty good unit, smart, I have a very large open concept and at 150 watts/channel, it's done my 7.1.2 system, takes a little time to get to know, but sofar it sounds **nice**, in living room, upgraded hdmi cables to 8k,so it can handle streaming 4k stuff. I'd recommend it have listening room all Macintosh MC2000 x2, tubes have around $157k, just for me, so it's a good unit, but my music room really sounds great but only stereo. Buy it, keep all stuff, and confirm with Amazon if you have 30 days, and get full refund. D
