Loved building the houses and pet.shop. Good value

Item arrived earlier then expected, well packaged haven’t got around to building it yet but good price for retired product and can’t wait to add to my Lego city

Although the review on the box was 16+, having read the reviews my son got it for his 12th birthday. He is a huge lego fan and builds for hours and may be because of this he was able to put it together all by himself.

A complex kit with some particularly fiddly bits - challenging and lot of patience needed but result is worth it.

Came within the given time frame, well packaged. With all lego sets clear easy to follow instructions took about 6 hours to make and is now in pride of place next to the shop in my display.

This set had the potential to be beautiful, but Lego failed to provide so many of the bricks that I almost gave up on the Pet Shop half. I know Lego provide missing bricks when asked. But the replacement bricks took ages to arrive and were the wrong ones. The exterior of the Pet shop requires very specific bricks and I just had to fill the gaps with whatever spare bricks I had, so it does not look as good as it should. Lego is so expensive and it really annoys me that the Creator sets always seem to have missing bricks. On the other hand, the house looks fantastic despite the mostly empty rooms. (I have since furnished it with the help of One More Brick).

My grandson loves Lego and loves this product. It was supplied in a much quicker time than had been said which was great because it was for his birthday. We are both delighted.

E' stato parecchio divertente costruire questo Negozio di Animali! Da fan adulto quale sono di costruzioni LEGO, ho trovato ameno il processo costruttivo, corredato da un ottimo manuale illustrato. Avevo in passato costruito altri LEGO simili, ma la gestione delle buste con i pezzi, numerate a seconda del macro-componente che si sta costruendo, per esempio il primo edificio, rende ancora più semplice avere sotto mano tutte le parti, senza doverle ricercare nel marasma che si genera sulla scrivania. Questo è uno di tre componenti modulari per formare una mini-città, insieme al Palazzo del Cinema e al Town Hall.

This is the third modular building in my collection. My wife and I build them much like you might spend time doing a puzzle. It's quiet, we spend time together, and we talk. Often, we talk about all of the clever techniques and adorable furnishings and detail that go into these buildings. This is a great set in general, but especially for a combined build like that. Both buildings in this set add up to a very nice block. I really love the blue color of the pet shop's walls. There is a lot of red, orange, and brown in the modular buildings still available for purchase which isn't bad, but it's nice to see some variety here. There are some familiar tricks and techniques in this set if you've built any of the other modulars, but as always, there are clever new things showing up as well. The attention to detail is amazing, and once again there are no complaints of substance for me on this set. Well, except maybe that I can't also get a mini-modular version from Lego on this yet... but that's not going to change my mind or yours on buying this. For a family project, this would take a while, but at the same time it's a satisfying build once complete. I would love to see another set that takes a similar idea to this two-building set and expands the modular street a bit further. But for now, this is entirely worth the price.

This was another great addition to our LEGO library, and plugs in nicely to the town scene that we're building. From a cost perspective, it is definitely in line with other models in the series (around 10 cents a piece) and the build was fun. There wasn't a lot of repetitive build steps (compared to say, the Palace Cinema). We have really enjoyed some of the advanced SNOT techniques in this series, and there are some good things to learn from this set. We really like the reuse of parts in new ways. The mini-figs are fun and the rooms/scenes you can create also make this a fairly playable set. With this many pieces in these sets, it's nice that they come in sections: bagged sets of pieces that are tied to specific steps or sections of the build. There are a couple of instruction books, and these things combined makes it easy to break up the set and have the whole family working on it.
