However, the first of the replacement discs was also a dud. It was only the second one that worked. I complained to Verbatim again, and now they've gone silent on me.So the final tally is 10 discs total, 6 duds, 1 known good, and 3 I haven't tried yet. £45 spent and several hours wasted. The only thing these discs are good for is hanging up as (expensive) decorations.For the technically inclined, the faults seem to affect an entire disc layer. I've found that either the first 33GB or first 67GB of data is readable (so one or two layers' worth). ### ⭐ Poor quality *by T***N on 23 January 2025* The first bluray bdxl I opened there was warping / peeling on the surface and it wouldn’t read, several of the disks failed writing, they are poor quality and for the money I am very unhappy ### ⭐⭐⭐ All 5 were duds, but Verbatim customer support replaced them with working discs *by M***E on 11 January 2024* EDIT: I had a terrible initial experience with these discs - all 5 in the pack returned multiple verification errors. They weren't writing properly. As I had a new Verbatim drive, I emailed Verbatim support thinking it was the drive. They sent me a new pack of 5 discs to check it wasn't a bunch of bad discs... and they're all perfect.So... the original experience wasn't great, but Verbatim customer support was fantastic.
