A whole LOT of freaking steel wool. I was not paying attention when I saw the advertisement. IF you have a use for this much steel wool CONGRATULATIONS. I opened the package, said OMG and returned it after a glare from the wife. I myself was ready to keep my large rolls of steel wool, but happy wife, happy life.

Used for mice protection. Works great easy to use and cut and great value for the money!

NOT stainless steel. Made it through one winter season and turned to orange rust powder! Door weather seal it was I staled in stayed closed 99% of the time. No salt no moisture. I should’ve known better. I’ll shop local for real stainless steel wool this time.

I used it to plug holes and spaces in my mountain cabin where mice would get in. Around pipes, between cabinets and stove, etc. Since I put it in- nothing. They hate it apparently because they can't chew threw it. I am sure it is great for 1000 other uses- but just wanted to comment on how I used it.

Steel wool works well to plug little holes to keep mice out. This is a stainless steel version that so far hasn't shown any rust, even in outdoor uses. You need shears, tin snips or GOOD scissors to cut it to size, it comes rolled up in a coil, just unroll how much you need and cut it off.

Comes with a lot of wool to fill holes outside the house. Great for sealing holes to keep animals out.

This is not stainless steel. It is standard steel wool! I purchased this to use in a location that might get wet to deter rodent incursion however, after leaving a piece that was excess laying outside in the rain overnight, I noticed it was discolored where it laid on the ground. This raised my suspicions, and I checked the remaining product it with a magnet. The magnet stuck telling me that it is not stainless steel.
