Really good scissors razor sharp

A well known brand of high quality products. They are well-built and very sharp scissors, with consistently clean cuts. They are also very comfortable to use and very reliable.

I've always bought Fiskar scissors and they last forever - or they would have done had I not left them in the cutlery drawer at the old house lol! They stay sharp and have never had to sharpen any of mine even after years of heavy use. Great for so many kitchen jobs!

This is a top quality pair of scissors, no doubt. They feel good in the hand, the blades are powerful and precise, and the snip is very satisfying. The measurement from handle to tip is 21cm. When the blades are open as wide as they go, the available cutting edge is 9.5cm. I've used them on paper and card and the cuts have been flawless. The packaging advertises a 25 year guarantee, which the Fiskars website says covers "defects in materials and workmanship". I've taken a star off for the quality of the plastic handles. They're absolutely fine, but not quite as premium as the rest of the product. There are minor imperfections in the moulding and the seam is quite rough. I'm sure the seam will smooth off over the months, but at the moment it slightly detracts from the overall comfort. I'm being very picky because these are four times more expensive than a basic equivalent. My expectations were very high based on other reviews. I thought there would be nothing to improve, but these fall just a little short. Still, no regrets. I don't expect I'll ever need to buy another pair of scissors.

After seeing a TV show about Fiskars, I was intrigued, since the craftsmanship at the factory seemed very good. And it wasn't just for show: I bought these scissors to cut carbon fiber cloth, to avoid fraying at the edges, and it delivers. I'm almost reluctant to use it for anything else, because even though they are not expensive, they are, by far, the most reliable, useful and sharpest scissors I have ever used. After 3 months of use, it still retains its edge, but after a while, it might be necessary to buy a sharpener, such as Fiskars' own. Then again, scissors are like knives: they need sharpening over time; most people aren't used to this because crappy scissors can just be replaced. The handle is ergonomic, but keep in mind, these are RIGHT HANDED scissors. Might not mean much for a lot people, but lefties can easily find the LEFT HANDED version from Fiskars!

These are one of the few that are still made in Finland that's why I purchased them. Excellent economics, everyone should have a set of shears just like this.. I don't need any other scissors except for these mostly. Excellent, go ahead and purchase made in Finland. Unlike most other scissors...

Cortan extremadamente bien y son muy cómodas en la mano. Se adaptan bien a casi cualquier cosa sin ser una tijera específica para nada. Quizá eso es lo bueno que tiene. El eje es de remache, pero si es de calidad y la tijera se usa con sentido común, seguro que no supone un problema. Envío super rápido.
