Part of the grilling arsenal
Nothing like cast iron in combination with a kettle grill. This serve the purpose of protecting the lower portion of grill very well when using a charcoal basket. Hot and cool zone cooking without the fear of oil building up on the bottom of grill. Can also use for a hot plate searing or a quick out door smash burger.

Important tool to have
This thing is thick and solid, used it tonight after giving it a good seasoning, i did follow the instructions with a slight modification of washing with soap and water, oiling with vegetable oil then baking for 75 min at 350 degrees, then i put another coat of oil on it, I love how this kept drippings from my chicken wings to a minimum.

Great for veggies, fish, or anything that would normally fall through grill. Must be treated to avoid rust. Really like this item for grilling.

Great grill accessory. The cast iron feels heavy and solid, and it fits my 22-inch kettle grill very well. I like that it can be used for searing, as a griddle, and also to catch drippings during longer cooks. It heats up nicely and gives food a great sear. Very useful 3-in-1 piece if you use a Weber-style kettle grill. Definitely happy with the purchase.
