So I was brain washed all shampoos must have a extra conditioner to be effective. The first time I used Fresh Beards it was a great shampoo with just the right scent. My beard was very clean, but oh no, there was no conditioner. I was convinced I would get beard-druff and my beard would fall out. So I pop out of the shower, use my Fresh Beards beard oil, and everything returns to normal. So maybe I am over-paying for other brands beard shampoos and conditioners? (I figured major league would be safer bet and closer adjacent smell to what I was looking for based off its description) First impressions of freak is strong smell of oranges. It smells very fresh and clean, but reminds me of the smell of a Lysol wipe. I’m not getting much of the bergamot note.(Also this is my fault for not reading, but the size of the bottle is small at only 4oz.
