A good water-based pomade and holds well. Washes out easily as well. Gives a medium shine, so not for the slick rocker style quiff...use royal crown wax pomade for that! Not a fan of the fruity smell, but soon disapears after application...Layrite smells better and this smell lasts, which I like, but apart from that...good stuff and a nice tin to keep your cufflinks in afterwards!!

Inhave used this pomade for a few years niw and its still my gontonhair product. My local Salon sells it and I always buy it from there when ever I get the chance. After a quick check here and with jt being clightly cheaper, I opted for ordering from Amazon. With the quick delivery and cheaper price, I opted to buy from here. This product does my hair exactly how I like, and it holds for more than one day if you dont have time for a shower every day, a quick comb through and its good to go again, so very effective in that sense. I quite like the smell to it when applying. The texture of the pomade makes it so it applies easily to your hair. I wouldn't say that it is sticky in your hair as it applies really well, but definiely need to wash your hands to remove it after applying. The product washes out of your hair fine, I have never had to re-wash my hair due tonfinding some of the product still in there. I do find in the rain it can sting a little in the eyes, but nothing a quick wipe of the eyes cant sort out. Overall, this is my go to hair product and if my hair line stays as it is, will be for a good few years yet.

I love this stuff, and although it's not cheap, it's a great product. Easy to apply, and smells lovely. Follow instructions on the tin (if you an read them that is) or check out the Dapper Dan videos for best ways to use it.

Bought it as a joke present for my son after it appeared in the comedy movie “Brother where art thou”. Surprised to find such a thing really existed. It really is as slimy as it appeared in the movie. I don’t expect he’ll ever put any on his hair but who knows, there are obviously some people out there who like this grooming product.
