This book is great in unravelling neish topics and the common misconceptions we have to help us better understand the ultimate goal and the smaller steps we each individually need to take in order the achieve it. From our literal understandings to the deeper meanings, Nouman Ali Khan brilliantly breaks down selected verses of the Quran and unwraps it for us. Breaking down the Arabic literature linguistically to the use of the stories of the prophets and why they supplicated so, or acted in that manner etc. The style of writing is fantastic as it is almost like he has sat down next to you and is having a conversation. It is very easy going and to understand, even though the book is many years old, topics discussed are still very relevant today. This is a testimony to the thought that was put into this book by Nouman Ali Khan when writing as it is timeless. This is a book I would highly recommend to all, muslims and non-muslims as the lessons learnt here are for everyone, even though the book is many years old.

This is a fantastic must have book..Concise, beautiful ayahs picked to back up some profound concepts, relevant, simply written and very reflective. Read it during Ramadan, honestly had tears all the way through. Inspired to learn more about Allahs words, how amazing Allah talks so much to us through Quran yet all these years I didn't realise actually I do need to understand it!!!

Excellent book by Norman Ali Khan, very easy to understand and gives you a lot of knowledge Masha'Allah

It's a good book but I'm shocked at the poor literary skills of the author, especially as he is a native English speaker. Did he not hire an editor? The grammar and syntax is very poor so just be mindful of that - the message still comes through so I would still recommend

Amazing book

I would recommend this book to everyone, not just muslims, as it fixes alot of misconception abouts Islam, particularly where they relate with our culture or way of life. This is a must read for muslims. Br. Nouman needs to write alot more books and share his wisdom further!

A must read by one of my favorite authors and lecturers gracing our ummah I recommended and recommend it to anyone needing a reality check within themselves
