Lovely loose tea infuser and a great gift
Lovely loose tea infuser and a great gift This made a really nice Christmas present for my mum and she’s been using it regularly ever since. It’s a simple but well thought out design that makes brewing loose leaf tea very easy, with no mess and no bits ending up in the cup. You just add the tea, let it brew, then place it over the mug and it pours cleanly, which feels much easier than fiddling with tea balls or bags. The tea tastes great compared with other quick infusers we’ve tried, with the leaves given enough room to expand and release flavour properly. It holds the heat reasonably well too, so you’re not drinking lukewarm tea within minutes, and I’ve not noticed any leakage when pouring as long as you follow the simple tilt-and-pour process. The build quality feels good for everyday use and it’s easy to rinse out after each brew, so it doesn’t feel like a chore to keep clean. Overall it’s been a successful gift and a handy little brewer for anyone who enjoys loose leaf tea.

Let it brew and simply place the pot on to your cup, wonderful
What a great tea pot! I was served tea with a similar pot in a cafe in Bakewell and just had to have one too. The loose tea brews so well and once ready you simply place the pot on the top of your cup and watch it pour in the cup. Tastes great, looks great, doesn’t drip once used either. Cleans really easy, ready for the next quality brew!

Best tea gadget ever.
Wish I hadn’t waited so long to get one of these.. I am drinking far more of my herbal teas than ever before. So easy, much more room to expand and flavour. I make it quite strong then top up throughout the day with extra warm water. Even my dog is benefiting from some fresh peppermint tea.

Impressive and Ingenious Design - can be used for tea or ground coffee
The photographs do not do this product justice; the plastic is much like a crystal clear acrylic and looks more expensive. The functionality of the teapot is almost futuristic and is lot of fun to use. It can be used with loose tea or tea bags; I have also used it with ground coffee the filter is very fine. The only minor problem is that there is always a single drip after pouring, which typically happens if you have sat it on a table/cloth without a small saucer under it. Apart from this i have had no other issues with it and use it most days - guests and, in particular children, are usually intrigued by its operation. To go with the ingenuitea i would recommend a clear cup or mug so that you can see when it is full without the risk of it over flowing. Once you've tried it you'll never use tea bags again!
This is the second such teapot that I've had - this being a slightly different version of the first one I was given and that lasted me 3-4 years. I use mine daily and one heaped teaspoon of loose leaf tea lasts me throughout the day in this fantastic gadget, making 5-6 cups of tea before it is too weak for me to enjoy. The beauty of this teapot is that the leaves don't sit in any leftover water in between cups - the clever design means all the water drains out of the bottom of the pot direct into your mug, leaving the tea leaves ready for the next refill of hot water, as fresh as the first cup. Although loose leaf tea may cost more this is such an economical way to drink good quality tea of interesting varieties throughout the day. It's incredible to see the size the leaves have unfurled to by the end of the day! The pot is easy enough to clean - knock the damp leaves into the bin - or compost bin - and give it a swill with water. It xanbe taken apart and put in the dishwasher or soaked in Miltons Liquid occasionally. I'll never use a tea bag in the house again - except for visitors who just want 'builder's tea'!

Easy to use, makes a nice cuppa
Makes a nice cup of tea, simply put in the tea leaves, add water and let it brew then put it on your cup and the water flows in. Or hold over the cup and push the base up to let the water drain out. Just be careful that the cup is big enough for the water in the infuser if you put the infuser on the top as it'll drain all the water out. The filter can be pulled out, first time may feel like needs some effort, to make cleaning easier. I've rated flavour in the review but to be honest that's down to the tea used, but didn't want to bring down the overall rating. Doesn't need to keep the tea warm for long, as only used for long enough to brew it then transfer to your cup.

Easy to use. I would buy it again-OH, I did! 😁
I got this teapot as a gift 6 years ago from a dear friend who has passed away. Easy to use and portable. Recently, I dropped it on the floor and it cracked. I found it on Amazon by its brand name (IngenuiTEA) and re-purchased it because it IS the best one. Although it is pricy-it's Easy to use, good quality-made of hard plastic. It can break or crack if it falls on the floor from a countertop height. So don't do that! Put 1-2 teaspoons of looseleaf tea right into the pot and then, add hot water. (I use my Keurig but this pot is too big for the Keurig cup platform to sit flat, but the pot has a great-sturdy handle that doesn't get hot when filling!) Then sit the pot on a completely flat surface, reattach the lid and wait for 5 to 10 minutes. Then, set the pot right on top of your cup to release the through the sieve. Tea runs straight down into your cup. Watch to make sure you check your cup capacity and lift the pot off. . . small Demi cups will overflow quickly! This pot is perfect! Caveat: NOT good for stove top heating, and requires a flat surface. NO leaks unless the surface is uneven. Don't place on a saucer or bowel or on a paper towel. Tea capacity depends on how much water you add. Plastic next to the screen may discolor after use. Mine looks green because I drink green tea and I left the tea in the pot overnight. MY Bad! I do not recommend removing the strainer for cleaning-it does come out but it's a tight fit and a bit hard to get back I. I highly recommend this teapot and have bought it twice now!

COOL, SUPER COOL FOR TEA LOVERS
This Gravity kettle is a must for all those who view serving tea as an art. Watch the tea leaves diffuse taste and then just simply place the Teapot on the cup to see the tea in the cup.

Très pratique mais un peu cher
A n'en pas douter il y a quelques choses de satisfaisant dans le fonctionnement de cette théière. Deux petits bémols le prix excessif et le fait qu'il soit entièrement en plastique et non en verre.
