Zap them there spiders, continual spray or a large quantity of spray depends on spider size!
In my experience this absolutely works, but spray it according to the spider size. For the bigger and more meaty spiders you'll need to give a good constant burst of spray, as they'll hang on, be a bit patient because it takes a few seconds for it to work on the big ones especially, even when they drop, they may slowly crawl on the surface before departing this earth! I don't want anything to suffer so I'll squish it if it's still fighting. It gets the job done with a limited amount of suffering as possible. The spray smell isn't unpleasant, but open a window before spraying if you can and try not to breathe it in yourself for obvious reasons. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly after use. If used in the kitchen or a table surface make sure you clean the surfaces down too. I do always feel guilty afterwards, so I'll bless the spider. However, I do blamelessly justify myself by thinking "well everything has and is a predator and if I didn't get it a bird or cat would kill it anyway". Spiders kill and eat our pollenators, so I resent them for that too. If they don't want to get zapped they shouldn't venture in my home like thieves in the night! There is a woodland at the bottom of our garden, so we get a fair few spiders, mosquitoes and midges, we fitted midge screens to all our windows, which stop spiders as well from getting in that way, but spiders will still get in through crevices in a house elsewhere of course! Although some people say they vacuum them up or use a spider catcher to get rid of them and put them back outside, this doesn't eradicate them because they can escape the vacuum and will soon return to your house. I do love all wildlife/nature, as long as it stays outside my home! Except I've never liked spiders but will leave and respect them outside, but if they dare venture into my home and if my husband isn't available to put them out. I will say sorry to them first and then without any further hesitation, fetch this spray and they're history. The spray itself is good value for money, as you get 3 cans for the price. It's brilliant and effective and I personally highly recommend it for getting rid of spiders for good!

Worked for me.
Spider Killer Spray. I had a severe problem with those spiders with tiny bodies and long legs, known as Cellar Spiders. No matter how thorough I was with vacuuming them up from behind and under furniture, curtains etc more would appear the next day. I sealed as many holes up around pipes from the roof and that came up through the floor but they just reappeared as if supplied by an endless stream of them. I tried this spray. I blitzed the whole house. I took kickboards off the kitchen units and sprayed under and behind. I even went in the loft and under the suspended floor and sprayed. All rooms were thoroughly sprayed behind, under and around furniture, curtains, every nook and cranny, I sprayed everywhere !! Some fly sprays have a strong odour but this spray's smell is barely noticeable. I am a convert to this spray. I have seen the odd one but they seem dopey and are soon finished off. I have not seen anything like the number I used to get. I think it unlikely that I can kill every last one but this spray has really done a fantastic job at knocking them for six and I will be spraying regularly just to make sure. Buying the multipacks works out cheaper and you will be surprised how many you will need if you are going to spray everywhere like me. I will definitely be reordering. Big thumbs up from me.

Does the job but not quickly enough
This is the second time i have bought these, especially good for spider season. They are a good price and do the job. I have to say these are a last resort as ideally I like to catch the spider in a glass and put it outside. But I do have a fear of them so sometimes if they are in awkward positions or I think I may lose them and never sleep again, lol, I have used this. It does kill them but you have to use quite a lot and they can take a while to die which I don't like. I keep the can on the side hoping to deter spiders that way, ha ha! But I also use it to spray in areas where they have been or around doors/windows where they may enter. It will be better if they make one that either kills them quicker or freezes them so you can catch them and release them outside.

A sacred nectar for arachnophobes
This has been life-changing. I've got pretty severe arachnophobia, which is awkward when you live alone in an old building that seems to serve as some sort of Centre Parcs resort for enormous house spiders. The big, fat, spindly-yet-somehow-also-thick ones that suddenly appear beside you while you're in bed, or in the bath, or on the toilet. They trespass onto your property and ambush you at your most vulnerable. I can't look at a photo of one of those nasty hellchildren without wanting to crawl back into the womb. I have screamed, I have cried, I have thrown tins of food at them (would not recommend), I have physically thrown up. From September to November every year, I lived in fear. My family suggested I go for exposure therapy to treat my arachnophobia. I insisted that I'd rather mow a lawn with my teeth than go to a lab full of spiders to get 'exposed', and that it would be easier for me to just eliminate all possibility of encountering a spider, ever. They laughed. But in August last year, as I counted down the days until the inevitable invasion, I stumbled across this product after googling 'stop house spiders please god how'. Best. Day. Ever. I used a more-than-generous amount of this spray to coat every possible spider-sized entrance into my home. It's an old building with a lot of cracks and nooks and crannies, but I sprayed the edge of every door, window, and piece of skirting board. I got the gaps between the floorboards, and the holes cut for the pipes to go down through the floor. Everything. I looked like I was in a zombie apocalypse movie. Usually, over the course of Spider Season on any given year, I'd have at least 10-15 gut-wrenching, nerve-shredding 'encounters'. But you know how many of the ugly little scrotes I had to confront after I'd used the spray? ONE. I stepped up to it with my trusty can of 'SPIDER KILLER' in one hand, and the hoover in the other. I sprayed it directly; it struggled briefly in a sort of fitful death-dance; I whacked out the vacuum cleaner and, screaming down the phone to friend, took the eight-legged wretch to Dyson town. I put tape over the end of the vacuum cleaner nozzle and asked a family member to empty it for me at a later date. SUCCESS. I write this just after cheerfully spider-proofing my home with the spray for the second year in a row, and ordering another batch so that I'm ready for any surprise attacks. The spray does have a chemical smell, but it's not overpowering and it fades pretty quickly. Maybe do the spider-proofing just before going out so that it settles by the time you're home. It didn't damage or stain any of the materials I sprayed it onto, including wood. The only downside is that the picture of the spider on the can sometimes gives me the willies, but I turn it round on the shelf and all is well. A very affordable, effective and un-terrifying alternative to exposure therapy for arachnophobia.

Not a total spider apocalypse
This isn't the ultimate weapon. Either the formula isn't strong enough, or the spiders have built up a resistance. It takes the edge off and definitely slows them down, but won't win you the war with this alone.

Brilliant, makes them run out of their hiding places and then die!
Now, let me start with my justification. I don’t mind normal, harmless British spiders and I don’t like hurting them but these false widows just have to go. Last year I found the first one I’d ever seen, in my garage. This year (2023) their numbers have exploded. They have surrounded the house, upstairs and downstairs and keep coming in the window and they have covered the cars and taken over the shed. They seem to have driven out the usual native spiders. War has been declared so war it is. This stuff is just absolutely brilliant. They hate it and can’t get away from it fast enough. Keep spraying and it eventually kills them. Clear away their telltale white candy floss webs with a brush and spray again and it keeps them away for a long time. I’ve had to do all around the inside of every door and window frame, every nook and cranny around the house, underneath every window sill, around all the plant pots and planters in the garden and around the outside and inside of the shed. I’ve had to do all 3 cars, behind the glass of the wing mirrors from where they came running out, underneath all the windscreen wipers, all the vents and after finding webs inside the cars I’ve sprayed all inside each one to leave overnight. It’s very effective and keeps them from coming back for a good while. I found one on my window sill at work too. The giveaway is the most concentrated area of white candy floss cobweb that points to a hideyhole. This spray flushed it out so I could soak it in more and kill it. I’ve used up 6 cans so far and I still need to do the attic. I will always have these cans handy from now on.

Works Well, Excellent Value, Smells Pretty Good
We have just moved to a house in the country and in October which is exactly the time of year that most people in the UK are plagued with spiders. Our new house was laying empty for a while and the attic which the old owner had turned into a room had all its flooring and walls ripped up due to building control so all three of these factors pretty much meant the house was overrun with the biggest spiders I have ever seen. I don't mind admitting that this 6ft 2ins, 18 stone man's man is terrified of spiders so something had to be done before I admitted defeat and handed the keys over to the spiders. I decided to go with a three prong attack of these spray cans, plug in anti spider ultrasonic devices and anti pest smoke bombs. The smoke bombs I could only use in the garage and shed due to us having dogs that could not leave the house for a whole day. I am none the wiser if the plug in things work but I do know that these sprays cans work.... I have used these cans to both kill a spider by drowning one in a very long spray of the stuff and watched it die and by spraying around the door frame of our front door were a lot of spiders tended to appear on the inside of the door in the hallway as in several at anyone time making it impossible for me to use the hallway without sending out my secret weapon first.... my wife armed with a slipper. Not wanting to tempt fate but since spraying around the door frame I have not seen a single spider in the once favourite social gathering spot so I can only assume the spray is doing it's job. I also sprayed this in the corner of our rooms where there is alarm sensors which thanks to the previous owner's useless diy efforts there is a oversized hole for the cable which leads up into the roof space (bungalow) which was also a common entry point for the spiders and so far so good also have not seen one slip in via this entryway since spraying. Given that you get three large cans for £6.99 and free delivery this is definitely excellent value. In fact my only negative point is the large graphic of a spider on the label..... yes I hate spiders that much! Definitely highly recommended and I take my reviews very seriously so should my experience change I will update this review but if you are reading these then all is still good.

Effective if you have a fear of spiders.
Takes a while to actually kill the spiders. I needed to go in my shed but it was like a spider city. I sprayed a decent amount then closed the door. The smell is a little strong as most insect killers are. Now, the spiders aren’t silly they started to escape the shed. So they can still run but the spray does then take effect. I’ve added a couple of photos to show you the worst two it killed just outside my shed. Easy to use spray but you may lose the eight legged thing while it runs off to its death.
