Easy yeast for home made bread
Huge bag of easy bake, instant dry yeast. Made perfect bread in my bread maker (no need to do any preparation, just chucked it straight in) with this so would highly recommend. Difficult to find this type of yeast in the supermarket at the moment so very pleased with the price and quality of this.

Good Yeast - Instant Activation
Good yeast - almost instant activation. You can just add it dry to the mix if you want, but I tend to mix 100g flour, 200ml water and 20g yeast and let it rest in the fridge overnight. Bring it out about an hour before you need it. Had this for a couple of months now and no deterioration.

Superb yeast
This is the best dried yeast I've used. Not sure the exact process but I put a spoonful in sugared warm water first to start it off. It started fermenting within 3 minutes!!! Superb. First rise in a warm place took just 1 hour and then next in 20 minutes. Great for a quick loaf. The taste is on a par with fresh yeast too so there's really no point in buying fresh again for me. I would highly recommend this along with Marriages Very Strong or especially Extra Strong Canadian Bread Flour. You simply will not get a better home baked loaf in this country if done properly.

VERY HAPPY TO RECOMMEND MAURIPAN INSTANT YEAST.
Filled my smaller yeast tin to store in the fridge and the resealed the larger package, enclosed in a small plastic bag, and stored in an airtight, clipit type container in my freezer where it will keep fresh. I normally use my Panasonic breadmaker to knead dough only and then shape and bake in the oven. For the first loaf using this yeast, I baked the loaf completely in the breadmaker so I could compare it with loaves previously made this way, but using my storebought yeast. I am very pleased with the outcome. I made a loaf using 500gms of flour. 250gms of the total was Matthews Cotswold Eight Grain Flour and 250 gms of ordinary Plain Flour, to give a softer crumb and slice. I added 1 tablespoon of sugar, 25gms of Sainsburys basics pure lard, 1 teaspoon of salt, 340-350 mls(gms) of water and 1 teaspoon of yeast. Baked on the normal white loaf programme menu 1. Using plain flour normally does not give a completely full rise as bread flour with a higher gluten content. I was therefore delighted to find that the loaf extended a good inch or more above the top of the tin. This is usually the size achieved with a recipe using 600gms of flour. The loaf was evenly risen, had a beautiful texture and crust, and the top did not sink at all. There was no detetectable taste of yeast. I am happy with this product and have no problem recommending it.
