Are these cables balanced or unbalanced?

These cables are not balanced cables. Usually the description will state whether they are balanced. The KabelDirect cables are clearly described as RCA/phono, so they are not balanced. The connectors are phono, whereas balanced cables would likely have XLR type connectors. Any equipment that you want to connect a balanced cable to must have XLR sockets to accommodate. Some microphone products use a high quality balanced cable with standard type 1.3or 3.6 microphone connectors.
