Wedding Videographer says they are the Best
Time for me to qualify the title. Yes I am a wedding videographer in the highlands of Scotland and have been for the past four years. I have roughly about 35+ clients per year so I burn about 210+ discs per year. Now most of the reviews I have read give the impression you use them for personal use and data storage. However, my use is for business and they are tested to the max by my clients. If you burn these on your burner and it is yourself reading them back on your PC you will probably always have success. My DVDs are burnt for all sorts of DVD players, probably new DVD players and old ones to. Here is an overwhelming endorsement for these wonderful disks. Not one single client has had a problem with these discs. Not only that, each client gets five disks and they give away the other four and loan them out to more people also. I estimate that nearly about 200+ different DVD players per year are using these discs to playback the weddings I produce. I burn these discs at 4x speed with a bit rate of between 6 to 7.5 Mega Bits per second, this is very high for Standard Definition video. Not only that, the video's are on average 1 hour 45 mins and the largest being 2 hours 55 mins long. So even the auto change over does not cause any of the client DVD players problems. I know quite a few Videographers who still use two Verbatim -R DVDs for the weddings. I decided after a lot of research on line to use these discs. I use Adobe Encore 3.0 to burn my master copies and then Nero to burn the remain 4 (6 copies per wedding) Finally, for best results in burning, especially for video, always burn at the lowest speed possible. In the case of these discs Encore says 8x I always burn at 4x. In the case of the Verbatim -R, maximum speed 16x I still burn at the lowest 4x. It is impossible to argue with my field results. All my clients ever say to me is what a fantastic video, not a peep about the physical DVD. Verbatim are the best and for my business I would never use anything else. I hope this review helps and you should now be able to make an informed choice. Just for the record I would advise against the Verbatim DL-R as they did fail on a clients DVD player. I sent them out hoping they would be ok but they were not. So I sent the replacements in the Verbatim DL+R and they worked a treat, no complaints. So for single layer DVDs I always use Verbatim -R and for dual layer Verbatim DL+R. These disks were delivered the next day to me, very fast. Many thanks Eddie

Great!
I use these for making backups of my games. I haven't had a problem yet. If you follow guides on the correct settings for ImgBurn then you will have no problem. When checking with kprobe, I generally get a PI averaging between 0.5 to 1 with a maximum PI of no more than 30. The PIF is similarly healthy with a max of 2/3 and a PIF average between 0.05-0.15. They're from Singapore so you can expect high quality burns. I'm very impressed with these, the lowest reliable price on the internet for these type of disks too. If you're looking to burn backups definitely buy these. I can only suggest these to people burning similar amounts of data since they handle 8.7GB overburns without a problem. Overall, buy these if you're looking to mount large amounts of data onto a disk. They're definitely worth buying.

I have found these DVD+R Double layers to be very good value. I have heard of people who have had several duds in a pack, but so far mine have been 100%. I have on occasion thought that I might have a dud when my computer failed to recognise a disc, however, I found that if I restarted my computer it was OK. I'm not sure why this should be, but I have put it down to Microsoft, as I am running windows 8.1 which seems to do many similar and strange things.

Excellence in a Tub!
Discs have mostly been used and of the 25 in the pack all 25 worked and none corrupted. The inkjet layer works beautifully and prints to look very professional with no streaks or smudges. I recommend to burn at around x2-2.5 speed. Any faster and you run the risk of corruption, this happens to all dual layer discs. Very good for burning xbox 360 backups. Also great value for money, couldn't find these cheaper anywhere else. For non-computer type people you should know these are only around 7.9gb when formatted and this happens to all 8.5gb discs and its not a downside.

I'm not sure whether it's the embedded software in my DVD recorder or not, but it takes an awful long time to record to one of these discs with a very fussy procedure. Having said that, I am able to get 4 hours of programming onto one disc, which is what I wanted in the first place. So I guess I shouldn't moan too much. These discs do the job.

flawless discs for video burning
I have been using these DVDs for last 6 years with out any problem. I use these DVDs to burn wedding films for clients. The coaster rate is 1 in 200 which is very low when compared to any other brand to burn video films. I have tried many brands over the years to save money (this is the most expensive dual layer printable DVDs) but its not really worth to try anything else for video burning. I think its fine to use other brands when you just want to use dual layer dvds for data storage but certainly not for video burning. Printing quality is also acceptable but not the greatest one. I use 119mm outer diameter and 20mm inner diameter template. Also I have noticed that prices for discs normally go down but only for this discs prices goes up. In last 6 years it has gone up from £12 to £22 Overall great quality discs but little expensive.

He grabado varios sin ningún problema.
