Great little drill
Wont be my most used drill but a great product when you need access in restricted spaces. Makita tools are always well made and this was sold at a very competitive price.

I think it is superior to the 12 Volt version
Well worth the money... I think it is superior to the 12 Volt version, it is powerful and it doesn't keep tripping, also it has the same size chuck as the other 10 volt drills.

Check the battery is the one you use
I am sure it’s a good tool, it’s a 10.8 volt but it takes a different 10.8 battery that the 10.8v ones I use. I don’t know if it’s an older model but the battery is not the new slide on one, it’s long and round. Just be aware and don’t make the same error I did.

but really pleased with it
Only used a few times so far, but really pleased with it. Seems well made like my other Makita rechargeable drills and one of the best for getting in those spaces that you can't get into with normal drills. I don't know what's better. Steve EB

Great tool for diy'er. Maybe not heavy duty use, but it's been reliable, sturdy and not faulted on anything yet.
