Cleaned the chips prior installation, and all got attached very well. Temperature dropped from 60 to 47 straight away at idle, and from 65 to 52 when watching movies. For some reason, however, the adhesive does not like to stick to the VRAM modules, it’s almost like there is an oily layer on them. I ended up using some of my own thermally conductive tape, which wasn’t much better. I've just bought a Pi3 and new case with a small fan. The two heatsinks for the top of the board are a perfect fit and size, the heatsink for the chip underneath hit the metal casing so I decide not to use it as it would have bent the board slightly.
