I switched to using Youthair around three months back. My hair is approximately 30-40% grey and I have recently been looking for a way to colour it without having to rely on traditional dyes and the mess that they can cause. Youthair is quick acting and effective.I've previously tried Grecian Formula and it struggled to move my hair past a reddish auburn colour, whereas my natural colour is a dark, mahogany brown: Youthair just works and has got me back to a natural colour.It has an instant effect from the first application and builds over time. It's a very effective combination. I have thick hair so apply quite a large amount and find that a small amount does rub off on my pillows, but only a small amount and as I have got more used to the product I have increasingly avoided the issue.As other reviewers have said, it's also great for styling: I've stopped using waxes/pomades since starting with Youthair.

Works temporarily between washes. Can even be used on facial hair. They need to work on the smell though. My partner says it's awful.

IF I could give rate it lower than one star I would. I have used the other type of youthair for years now and decided to switch to this. Thinking that since this one is more expensive it is likely going to be better than the other (trust me I totally loved the other type I have used). But to my greatest surprise, the product turned out to be absolute rubbish. It's basically having paint on your head because once you go for a shower you literarily see the black from your hair washing down. Now my wife tells me my hair is losing its colour and is turning brown. I wanted to wait for this tube to run out before I go back to the other type but I guess I will just dump this in the bin and make the switch now.I will not recommend this hair creme to anyone.

It's easy to apply and with time develops a good natural colour but it does stain clothes and pillowcases - all washes out but just need to be aware.

The people reporting disasters like staining etc,are just using to much.Its as simple as that.It does say in the instructions to use a small amount,and,thats all you need.You dont need to lather your hair in it,I used a blob less than the size of a 5p coin. It does work,it takes a few days but as long as you dont saturate your barnet in it,all will be well. Great product!

It’s a non greasy hair cream, for a youthful look hair for it makes the hair darkened without messing up your hands .

I gave up after 4-5 use. It’s like putting a creamy wax into your hair, greasy and comes off on all the fabrics it comes to contact. I won’t recommend it if you are after a more sustainable solution for your grey hairs….!

Had used a competitor’s product for years but could no longer get it shipped to Canada due to an ingredient. Was leery about changing, but totally satisfied after several months use. I’m light blonde and apply a small amount to my wet hair. Acts as a conditioner and mild styling agent. Following manufacturer’s instructions made my hair too dark! Perfect this way. Absolutely no odour.
