Better for me than a plastic drain plug fitting!
Easy to install by drilling a hole in a Ruber Maid Tough Stuff 50-gal Tub. Will make draining it out easier after soaking my electronic HVAC air filters. Installation was full proof if you used the right size hole drill. Installed with two rubber washers proved leak proof. The ball valve seemed to operate smoothly and should last as a drain valve that will have a pump and garden hose hooked to it for rapid emptying.

Works great !
The Spigot works good. It comes apart easily so you can install it. I installed it in a 5 gallon bucket that we use to catch a small leak in our basement from a pipe ( I put a one inch hole in the plastic bucket, then took the spigot apart and installed it in the hole.). Then I attached a garden hose to the spigot, so the water could flow through the hose to the floor drain. Now we don't have to remember to empty the bucket, until we get the leak fixed.

Great fit and easy on water
Very handy, good for plastic barrels. We installed this at the base of a 50 or 60 gallon plastic container, for the purpose of supplying our chicken “drippers.” From the output of this spigot, we are supplying two chicken coops with water from our rain tanks. It has been running for months now and still over half full.
