Just read the electrical problems with this model,is there a design fault

Same here, just keeps tripping the RCD's,  just had a third replacement in the first year, contacted Morphy Richrads totally un-interested in a product that clearly has an electrical design fault, eventally after vielled treats to expose them the  did start to come round to at least a discussion about it, but by then Amazon had already sent the  thir replacement. Would I buy Morpohy Richards products again? No way. Would I recommencd then? No Way, Morphyrichards customer service is exacltly not that, its more like customer aviodance. Without the  excelent Amazon Custmomer service I would have a worthless piece of junk. Well done amazon, poor show Morphy Richards!

As I am so new to this can anybody tell me how to make broccoli and stilton soup, thank you

Saute broccoli, 1 chopped potato, 1 stick of celery and a chopped onion. ( add a little water as you saute otherwise it tends to burn)  Add 500 ml chicken stock and 500 ml semi skimmed milk. Set to smooth setting.Add  little salt and pepper. If you want soup a little thicker add a bit of mixed flour and milk to ingredients.Put lid on and cook for 22 mins. Now add 200g chopped up Stilton and Cook for 5 more minutes by pressing the saute button. Enjoy!

How do I use the sauté option on soup maker

you add the finely chopped onions/ tomatoes or whatever to the inside of the soup maker and turn on saute and it will 'fry it ' in the base of the maker. However, I must say..it is only a small space and I found that if I was using a lot of onions etc then it was best to do this separately in a  pan on the stove as the soup maker can only do very small batches.

My fav soup is chicken. Could you put in small pieces of raw chicken?

Yes you could use the sauté function but personally I'd precook the chicken just to be 100% sure it's cooked
