Healthy Ponds Blast Pond Water Cleaner, 5 Water Soluble Packets; Each Packet Treats Up To 2,500 Gallons

I was truly blown away by the Healthy Ponds Blast! We had turned off our pump for a few days as we had been losing water from our pond and were going to be out of town. When we returned our pond had turned green (although the water level hadn't changed.) I tried several products I bought locally but nothing was reducing the algae. When I saw the ad for Healthy Ponds, it sounded more promising than anything I had seen. When it arrived by mail, I quickly followed the instructions and treated the pond. Day by day from Day one, I could see changes...almost miraculously the algae was disappearing. Within 5 days I could again see the fish and the bottom of the pond. I treated it one more time per the instructions. Then I refrained from using it for several months. It maintained the clarity with no further need for treatment. I have since ordered additional packages to have on hand...just in case it's needed again. However to date I have still only treated the pond twice and 6 mos later, it remains clear. When a neighbor complained of her pond being green with algae, I told her about the product which she ordered. As quickly as mine had cleared, she had the same results. We are both sold on this product and highly recommend it to anyone with algae problems.

I've tossed in 2 packages of this product over the last 3 weeks. I really don't see where it's making any difference. I don't have fish or anything, just plants and whatever animals jump in. Last year, I could see the bottom, but this year I must have left too much debris when I cleaned it.

My pond is about 12 years old and is about 7000 gallons. It has 15 giant Koi. I have been able to keep it relatively clean and clear for the last 12 years. I have no idea why but at the end of May the water was pea soup. I tried about 20 different things nothing helped. I put 3 of these packets in and by the next morning I could almost see the fish. Now a week later I can almost see the bottom. Fingers crossed after I throw in a couple more packs in maybe just maybe it’ll clear up the rest of the water. I’m not sure what is in this but it’s a miracle from pea soup to being able to see almost the bottom in less than a week.

So far it hasn't improved my pond water, clear water hasn't been the issue, algae is and so far still evident in my pond.

I originally reviewed the product when I used it to try to clear up a 150 gallon fish pond that was "muddy" with algae. It didn't clear it up and I gave it a bad review. After clearing it up with Healthy Ponds biodegradable spheres (Item #51117) which always work with the 3 spheres provided over a 1-3 month period, I started using this product monthly thereafter. It kept the pond clear after that year round. As a result, this product is more cost effective costing $10 for a packet of 5 as opposed to $30-40 for the three spheres. My algae buildup always occurs in the Jan-Mar time frame. I'm now experimenting with using one packet every 2 months through Oct and then one per month from Nov-May. If this works, I'll then only use the product from Nov-May to see if it keeps the pond clear.

The packet works great, i love that all i need to do is drop it into my pond. I am a novice so ease of use and knowing it wont harm my fish or wild life is a god send. Will be getting this again.

This stuff really cleaned up the algae in our pond. Deliver[y was within a few days and that's good as algae grows by the minute so the sooner it arrived the better. I have since found a similar product locally at a much better bulk price, hence the 4 star rating.

Best I've used. Koi ate the first package whole, fish is fine. Dissolved the rest by hand.

Bought this for my fish pond. It seems ok,but did not really see much of a difference in water compared to the price of item,lol.

Ad says cleans up to 2500 gallons but package received says 25000 gallons..won't risk using in my koi pond that is 2600 gallons as it states over use will possibly kill fish and aquatic life. Rather safe than sorry. I have thrown it in our huge pond of 100,000 gallons and no fish and see if it works. Rather an expensive trial.
