really good! just know that they are read from the other way but its quite easy ti catch up to! comes with a card of L and his full name. also comes with a very mini book with all of the death note rules which i thought was very cool! (photo is the L card)

Look a good quality publication

I can't express how glad I am to have bought this product. I've spent 61 euro on it and it was delivered in 5 working days, in perfect shape. The Box itself has excellent quality and the art work around it is amazing. Each Volume is perfectly published, comfortable to read and, last but not least, extremely enjoyable. I read the whole lot in 5 days. The story has plenty of twists and turns, and always unexpected. Characters like L and Light are so interesting that they bring the story alive. Personally, I liked the ending and the last 4 volumes in overall less, but it's still great when compared to some other manga series. After reading DB/DBZ/Naruto/Bleach/Shaman King, I bought this collection and so far it's the best manga I've ever read. And in an addition to the great box and series, there's also a 13th volume with plot summaries, detailed character charts, interview with the creators and a never before translated piece of comic. It's a great addition to an already great deal. My advise is: if you like manga's, buy it, if you don't like them, just try out this one first.

Erstmal zur groben Beschreibung der Box. Sie ist, finde ich, größer als sie auf dem Bild aussieht. Das Design außen ist hat eine super Qualität, der Griff oben an der Box ist sehr praktisch und strapazierfähig. Oben befinden sich zwei Klettpunkte, die den Deckel auf der Box halten. Der Deckel steht leicht ab, hält aber trotzdem super. Die Maße der Box sind grob 25cmx14cmx23cm (LängexBreitexHöhe). In der Box ist Platz für die 12 Mangas, das "How to use" und das "How to read" sind durch eine dünne Pappschicht von den anderen getrennt. Die Mangas sind, mit ein bisschen Fingerspitzengefühl, eigentlich einfach heraus zu nehmen. Sie sind 19cm hoch und 12,5cm breit (circa). Das "How to use" ist sehr klein und das "How to read" ist größer als die normalen Mangas (circa 20,5cmx13cm). Wer sich die Box genauer ansehen möchte kann das hier tun: [...] Einziger Haken, die Mangas sind alle auf Englisch! Also. Mich persönlich hat stört es nicht und das Video ist ja auch auf englisch. Also wer kein Problem damit hat und ein Fan der Reihe ist, sofort kaufen!! :D P.S. kleiner Tipp am Rande. Im September soll eine neue Box raus kommen, zur Feier des .. äh .. 10 Jährigen Jubiläums. Wer so lange warten kann, sollte einen Blick auf die andere Box werfen. Wer das nicht kann, so wie ich, sollte sich einfach diese hier bestellen, die ist nämlich mindestens genauso gut. 5 Sterne, ich bin seeehr zufrieden (bin auch ein richtiger Fan, vielleicht hat das ein bisschen Einfluss auf meine Bewertung.. xD) Liebe Grüße an alle. 日本語版よりも大きいので、細かい文字が読みやすかったです。デスノートの取り扱い説明書や箱もついているので、バラで買い揃えるよりもお得です。

Wow, just wow i thought that it was fake but no. Its original and good quality. I collect death note alot so im pretty happy with this.

On Goodreads, I rated this 4 stars, which means "I really like it." But on Amazon, it just means "I like it," which for me does not do justice to the effect it had on me. The story didn't make me feel things to the depths of my soul, nor did it present any particularly new viewpoints to me, but it was fascinating: fast-paced, full of twists, an interesting social critique. Light is a great main character/antagonist, as we get to delve into his twisted psyche and see how he goes from being a bright, idealistic teen to a power-tripping, out-of-control murderer. But my favourite character is definitely L, the detective trying to prove Light's guilt. He's a brilliant, adorable cinnamon roll, and he alone makes the series worth reading. (Can anyone tell I have a crush?) There are some things I take issue with (plot conveniences, the portrayal of women, occasional confusing parts, and one thing that I can't mention because it is a major spoiler), but for the most part, it's pretty solid. Also, a lot of people say that the anime is identical to the manga. This isn't true. The anime both adds and cuts things. Read the manga first, then watch the anime.
