Review: Quality product - Whilst rather too soon to evaluate properly, so far I am very impressed with the unit. Very reasonably priced, delivered promptly and well packaged. Instructions clear and helpful and belt/unit easy to position and wear. I've been using this once a day for about ten days now, increasing the intensity levels gradually (I started on 5 and I'm now up to 20). I will now increase to twice a day and increase the intensity as I go although I have to say that 20 seems quite powerful at the moment! (I am not a large person - I am under eight stone and run 8k 5/6 times a week so am therefore reasonably active and fit in the lower half of my body). My main reason for buying this product (I had a Slendertone many years ago when they had lots of pads to attach and this too was a good product) is that with the advancing years I feel that my waist has thickened somewhat and I really cannot see lazy old me going to the gym and/or doing sit-ups/crunches on a long term basis. So far I would honestly say that I am beginning to feel and see an improvement - my abdominal muscles feel tauter and there is certainly a feeling of well-being after a 'session'. As one reviewer said, this is not a 'slimming machine' but if you need help with toning and firming (without the risk of getting utterly bored with indoor exercises) then I do recommend that you consider purchasing the Homefront Slim Pro. Added bonu, of course, is that there are no extras in the way of gels and pads to buy, which makes it even better value! Well, that's my review all done. I'm now off to do my second session!
Review: An effective addition to training - This is an effective product, that can help you sculpt your abdomen and develop a 6 pack, it is not however, magic, and you will have to do a lot of work to supplement this. This product is not a fat burner. What it does is sends electrical impulses to your abdominal muscles, forcing them to spasm, which can help develop your 6 pack. However, everyone has a 6 pack, if these muscles are small, or large, what makes the difference is the amount of fat you have covering them. If you are a man and have over 15-20% body fat, it will be unlikely that your abdominal muscles will show directly, however if they do increase in size, which this product can help with, the area can appear more defined. Also, the more body fat you have covering the area, the less these electrical impulses will get to your muscles. If you are 30-40% or higher, I highly doubt this will have any effect on your muscles, and it would not make much visible difference to someone with that BMI anyway. If you are a really skinny person, you can expect some really impressive results. However, for most people, if you eat right, and combine this product with regular exercise and adequate rest it can really help you get some impressive results. I usually do around 5-6 hours of Cardio a week, running back from work, and around 3-4 hours weight training. I eat a bit more than I should, so I hold around 15% body-fat. I usually do not do much of a core workout as I have injured my back in the past, so I got this to assist in my daily routine, and I am incredibly impressed with the results. It is a very easy to use, and easy to clean product. Just a few drops of water and I am ready to go. One thing is you have to pace yourself. The larger your abdominal muscles get, the higher setting you can take, as the electrical charge is being dissipated over a larger area. Pace yourself! Do not turn it on for the first time, thinking your super fit and turn it up to 40, the highest setting. I did this and it was incredibly painful, I did rip it off before I did any damage but it would not surprise me if you could really hurt yourself by doing this. It took me several weeks of using the belt to get to this level. Start low, you can always turn it up if you can take more. I usually use mine 2-3 times a day now, sometimes when I am doing other things such as housework or even being at work. I usually have it on the high 30's when doing this as it basically does not interrupt me but I can tell I am still getting a real core workout at the same time. When I am lying down doing nothing, I usually blast myself at 40. Bearing in mind I believe that when I started using the belt, having the settings in the mid 20's was all I could take. Over the last few months I have noticed a real difference in my abdomen. The entire area appears much firmer and more defined. When I do core workouts, I have also noticed significant improvement in my core strength as well. Considering how cheap the product is, I really couldn't recommend it highly enough if you use it right. Just don't expect it to magically turn a fat beer gut into a shredded set of abs with no other work required.

Whilst rather too soon to evaluate properly, so far I am very impressed with the unit. Very reasonably priced, delivered promptly and well packaged. Instructions clear and helpful and belt/unit easy to position and wear. I've been using this once a day for about ten days now, increasing the intensity levels gradually (I started on 5 and I'm now up to 20). This is an effective product, that can help you sculpt your abdomen and develop a 6 pack, it is not however, magic, and you will have to do a lot of work to supplement this. This product is not a fat burner. What it does is sends electrical impulses to your abdominal muscles, forcing them to spasm, which can help develop your 6 pack. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Some objective negative points - but overall a great product.

Like so many people here, I was very dubious about how well these work. I am not a huge fan of exercise, though I have been on a diet which has shed a lot of pounds leaving me with a smaller stomach in as long as I can remember. I just wanted an aid which might help tone up what was once full of fat! My verdict is that I am very happy with the product! I felt that the price was too good to be true, but it has worked very well for me so far. Noticably tightness in my stomach, which is now FLAT for the first time in many years - anyway, all of this has been said in previous comments. I have read a lot of negative reviews on here which are based on people having received faulty products - annoying, unfair, but ultimately, it happens, so I thought I would try and level the land by giving some objective negative points not relating to my sales experience. Firstly, the belt is unisex, which is all very well for a lumbering bloke, but if you are a woman (as I am)and you have a smaller waist, the elasticated band is very long. I have to wrap mine tight enough to get it in the correct position, which means only the tiniest bit of velco connecting - that's right, if I lost any more weight I do not think I could fit in it! (I am not tiny by the way, a size 12-14 but with a narrowish waist). I couldn't imagine how the models for the product fare! Once the product is on, I find the velco sometimes uncomfortable, I have to move it around a lot to get it right. Also, the velco 'caves' into my stomach which can feel odd - so you just have to keep readjusting. Furthermore, looking at the velco, it looks like my constant straining on it means it is perishing a little - very worrying for the long term. My only other comment is use on the rest of the body - I have noticed a number of people have flagged this, yet still not answers. I, like everyone else, would like to use this on arms/thighs etc. I tried it on my thights, but I didn't like how it felt - too tight, almost like a tourniquet. I have no idea how on earth you'd put it on your arms with the amount of spare velcro. Does anyone have any ideas? Overall though, a great find.
