Original Shoe Goo CLEAR - 110ml/3.7oz Tube

I am a very keen DIY repairer of all sorts of household items. Have used this fantastic glue to reattach soles to three pairs of expensive trainers; to repair and improve the strength and longevity of the grass collection box of my lawnmower (saving £90); replacing and reinforcing the canvas like material that supports the seat cushions on a twin outside patio swing chair; repairing and reassembling the broken hard plastic control panel of a twenty year old Bosch dishwasher, and extending its working life by four years; A simply brilliant product!

Ordered this because the sole was dropping out of the bottom of my shoe. The order was due to arrive in 6 days however it actually arrived in 2. As for the product itself it was a lot more glue than I thought it was going to be, it came with 2 tubes instead of 1 like the item picture shows, it also came with a nozzel and scraper to properly apply the glue. So far the glue has been terrific bends really well with my shoes, waterproof and so far holding very strong. At least if it breaks again i will have plenty of spare glue. This product saved me £60 on a new pair of shoes so its 5 stars in my book

I had three pairs of trainers that had all ripped between the canvas and the sole around the heel. I liked them all and the rest of the shoe was still in very good condition. I did buy them heavily discounted so I guess there was already a known fault with them. I came across this product when I was looking for a way to repair them. It is usually advertised to repair holes in canvas externally. I used the glue to connect the canvas back to the heel internally. It is very sticky and gooey and will attach to anything that it touches so care has to be taken. Using an ice cube shapes and moulds it once it is in place. I used another cloth glue to do the external repairs. This worked superbly. I now have three pairs of trainers worth much more than the price of the glue and would use it again. I highly recommend this product. The only criticism I have is that when I squeezed the tube hard the base split meaning that I had to use all the glue in one go, hence four stars and not five. I would be more careful next time. The fumes are highly noxious so you need to use this outdoors.

I wish I had discovered this Goo a long time ago. It would have enabled me to keep my sports shoes for so much longer. The product is very easy to use. Just follow the instructions. It is best to use it as soon as a little hole appears in the sole of your shoe, for example, to prevent it from growing any larger. However, I tried the Goo on an old pair of sports shoes (Nike) that had a large hole in them, probably as large as a quarter of an inch in circumference. As an experiment, I filled the hole and left the shoe to dry for 24 hours. I then tried the shoes, walking for approximately five miles (I like walking!). The Goo not only filled the hole perfectly but it didn't budge when I wore them. I have worn the same shoes several times since, over varying distances (5-7 miles, approximately). The shoes are perfect. I am amazed that a product like this exists. Just take care to follow the instructions and make sure that your finish is very smooth. Thank you for this lovely product.

Ease to use best to use a glue spreader

Works well though not tested out the shoes in wet weather yet. Read the instructions as it is not the same as Shoe Goo 2
