It's not exactly comfortable but it looks the part in my lounge and for the price I paid I'm really happy. It will support the weight of three people, should you wish, but I treat it very gently. Minimal assembly is required, just sticking the legs on. In theory it folds down for a 'bed' of sorts but it would not be a good night's sleep for an adult. I just use it as a cheap and stylish item of furniture, and for that it's 5 stars.

It looks expensive for it’s price. It’s firm to sit on and I can see it has been made inexpensively with chipboard on the inside which is fine as you won’t be looking at that once it’s assembled. The cup holder is a good feature as well as the backrest going down to convert it into a bed. It is not a super strong sofa and it would be important to warn any children not to jump on it and not to stand on it yourself. The sofa came in one big box preassembled with only the legs to put on. The instructions are minimal. To get the legs you need to unzip the pockets on the bottom of the sofa and take them out. Then zip the pockets back up again as you will never need to go in there again. Next take the two biggest legs and they go on the front. The place you are putting them has been marked with chalk squares. I thought at first I would need an electric screwdriver as they are not predrilled but as the screws are wood screws you can just use a big hand screwdriver to press down on the screw and wind it straight into the chipboard through the fabric. I had all the legs on in half an hour it was that easy. Just make sure each leg has its screw holes over the chipboard before you go ahead and screw them in.

Be aware that this comes totally in one piece. It just folds out. Just the legs need screwing on. So that is the easy bit. But if you are limited with movement or disability be aware also that this arrives as a very bulky, heavy item. The delivery men were brilliant and took upstairs but I didn't ask them to actually put it in the required room, thinking it would just slide in. We are fit but elderly people and needed to get help to slide it into the room. It is wise to have it in the required place before unpacking. I thought initially that it was going to be far too big, but once in place it was very streamlined and neat. Looks sturdy and well made. Not the most comfortable seating but that is what I expected from this kind of sofa bed.

This is a product which looks good but just is awful to sit on. After 10 minutes you will have a numb bum. I thought it might be just me, but other people who sat on it had the same issue. There is a run of wood along the back, which is no where near padded enough which makes the product not fit for purpose. The cushions are not held on with anything either - how are they supposed to be of use?! All in all a terrible product which I'm convinced the sellers must be aware of ......Its so uncomfortable, that you wouldn't even want it for free as its not usable! I don't often leave reviews, but this one needed it.

multiple issues: 1) cheap material 2) underneath the cover for the sofa is made of some form of cheap paper/material which tends to easily rip. 3) feels really hard when you sit on it and the dimensions for male adult are not reasonable 4) after one month of use, there is a distinctive cave in. 5) You will have to screw the legs to the sofa...Get the screwdriver ready and some patience... 6) No holes for screws were made at the factory. If you are a DIY expert that might not be a problem for you. Now with regards to assembly: 1) it is partially assembled 2) you need to screw in legs into the sofa 3) you will get a package with screws and legs, they are inside the sofa in the base.

This sofa bed was quite easy to assemble and it's comfortable and looks great in my spare bedroom / office. Highly recommend this sofabed

Good price for product but it is not a very comfortable chair to sit on for some time
