I have brought these 3 times over the last couple months, these are spot on for plasterboard walls. For last 5years I've tried loads of other types and these by far work the best. My 65inch sky glass tv has been on the wall about 2months now with these and still holding strong. And anyone with a skyglass tv knows they are a heavy tv. Great fit and hold good amount of weight. Used 4 of these to mount a 65” OLED TV to the wall in our lounge using an Amazon basics mount. They seem solid in the wall and are ample for the job. It’s rarely the mount that fails with a TV, the fixings are the important part and these hold it strong. Super easy to install and a bonus they supply the drill bit which is useful for other tasks.

"GRIP IT" TV Bracket kit is a revolutionary product! If you, like me, received a Ryobi master tool set for Christmas 2014 from the in-laws and inherited the Readers Digest D.I.Y companion - then you consider yourself a professional! A professional D.I.Y thinker! P.D.I.Y.T (I know, catchy) believe they have honed skills, of absolute craftsmanship mastery, from viewing hours of footage on YouTube of Men building chairs from old bed slats and cardboard. The truth could not be further from reality! In fact, the humle P.D.Y.I.T are as competent with a chainsaw as Jason Vorhees is with a piping bag. It is scary how incompetent we are at D.I.Y, and yet we have convinced our better half that we possess a smidgen of skill. So, when the Mrs came to me and asked if I could attach the 48in TV to a wall, that I can only assume was made of bread, I confidently and prematurely stated that it would not be an issue - I must come clean, I wasn't confident I was just scared and lying. It was time to pop to the neighbors (who had built his own spice rack - this made him competent) and seek advice. It was that moment that I received the revelation that is, "Grip It" - it truly was a gift. I went home, skipping, like a school boy who had found the underwear section in a Littlewoods catalogue. I spoke to the Mrs with a tone an octave lower than I would audiably verse and told her about "Grip It". I have to say when the item arrived I was surprised at the kit! It literally had everything I needed from Drill Bit, to Alan key, to the instructions only a P.D.Y.I.T would require. The application and installation was frighteningly simple, so much so that I invested in more of the sweet little plastic bullion. They seem a little gimicky when eyes are first laid upon the winged circular mechanism, but they could not be further from Gimicky if I sold them back to the manufacturer. The TV is still hanging on the wall, with no signs of falling off. Remember, the job was done so by a wally. So, whilst I am not a builder or electronic engineer - what I am is a humble berk who can honestly say that this product works. There is nothing complicated or pretentious, no claims made that are deceptive - this product just works. So, to whom ever invented the "Grip It" wall thingy, thank you. Thank you for inventing such an ingenious piece of kit that allows those people, void of any practical ability, to hang TV's with confidence. I salute you

Needing to fit a TV wall bracket to plasterboard I had no hesitation in buying these fixings. They really do provide a very secure fixing solution that is second to none in your experience. The kit is provided with everything needed including the drill bit and the correct screws for installation.

Last year I had a loft conversion done but realised I had no space for a TV on a stand. The only option I had was to wall mount a TV but the only viable wall in the loft was a plasterboard wall. I am not a particularly confident DIYer and having never wall mounted a TV was rather worried about whether I could do it or not. I need not have worried as this kit made it all very easy (along with the Youtube video showing how to wall mount a TV). I had bought a low profile VonHaus 15-42" Fixed TV Wall Mount Bracket for £8 as the location of the bracket had little space meaning I needed to ensure the TV hugged the wall as much as possible. The screws that come in this kit are thicker and shorter than those from the wall bracket so will not fit through the bracket holes. In order to ensure they do you will need a 8mm HSS drill bit specifically used for drilling steel (you can buy them from places like Screwfix for £3-£4). The part you are drilling is not particularly thick steel so very easy to drill - just put some thick wood under the bracket for you to drill into a little bit. You will need to drill just the 4 holes so pick the ones you want (I chose the second holes from the left and right end as per the diagram that came with the bracket). Once the bracket is ready you should use a pencil to mark on the wall where you are going to drill the four holes ensuring the bracket is level using the in built spirit level (it is small enough that I didn't bother with my own spirit level). I tapped on the wall to make sure I wasn't drilling into any studs (wall should make a hollow sound) before marking the positions on the wall. I then used the enclosed 25mm drill bit to drill the holes into the wall, tap in the Grip-It into each hole and open the grips behind using a screwdriver and then attach the bracket using the screws supplied. You will need to tighten the screw until the bracket and Grip-It are tightly held together to the wall - I was surprised by the amount of strength generated and would be confident of the bracket handling my old 40kg LCD TV let alone my new 10kg LCD TV.

Amazing anchors! I had to hang a 40" lcd tv, older tv so it was around 50-75lbs. But these anchors have been holding well even after a month now! I wouldn't lie I tried hanging on to the mount after installation and I can confirm they are strong! Would definitely recommend

Ich habe mit 6 Dübeln meinen 65" Fernseher an der Rehgipswand befestigt. Bis auf den Dreck und den großen Löcher in der Wand, war alles perfekt.
