This not a heavy duty tool. And it is made from every day carbon steel without heat treating. It might work for hand held 4-1/2 inch angle grinders but not for any bigger application. I'll keep it around for that. Bob in Council Bluffs, Iowa, April 2026

These adjustable pin spanner wrenches are awesome! Very simple, but made heavy duty. They're not flimsy at all. Closed, the pin spacing is about half an inch (½") apart, and I'd say opened they would comfortably fit spacing about 5 inches (5") apart, but they will flip more than 180 degrees out. I'd recommend them to anyone to add to their toolbox if you use angle grinders and cut off wheels of any kind and are tired of the little shorter style they always come with. I believe that this very design should become the industry standard, to come with the grinders when purchasing. 😁 For the price, you can't beat em' with a stick!

I bought this to use on my angle grinder. Adjustable to any flange. But care should be taken with this. Injuries could result from improper use. Pinching and squeezing are like to occur. Gloves should be worn when using these. Safety issues with this.

Fits more than one tool and is sturdy.

Worked great for rebuilding a power steering pump. Very sturdy and good value.

a piece of sit. flexed too much to use. on a grinder. junk into the recycle bin.
