I purchased this device to help align my satellite dish, and I am extremely disappointed. Despite being marketed as a satellite finder, it fails at its primary purpose. It does not display the satellite it is pointing to, nor can you set it to search for a specific one. The sensitivity dial is completely unreliable. No matter where the dish is aimed, the device registers a signal, making it impossible to determine if you are actually pointed at a satellite. The manual offers no useful guidance on how to find a specific satellite like Astra 2, rendering the product useless right out of the box. I had to resort to a paid iPhone app called DishPointer, which instantly and accurately helped me align my dish. I got an immediate signal and video output with the app, highlighting just how ineffective this device is. Furthermore, this sat finder only measures signal strength, not quality. My Sky HD box showed a high-strength signal but a low-quality one, which required me to go up and down a ladder repeatedly to check the signal. The device provided no help in fine-tuning the signal quality. In short, this device is a complete waste of time and money. It is ineffective, lacks essential features, and will not help you properly tune your satellite signal. I do not recommend it.

Better at detecting weaker signals than other models I've tried but fine adjustment is not great.

Good quality, everything works perfect, within 20 minutes I have TV again

Excellent product, I realigned my dish in 10 minutes. Follow instructions, search the max signal on the average azimuth and scan programs. You'll get programs, indicating which satellite you catched (Google is your friend). Either you're on the right one, or you know in which direction you need to correct azimuth (elevation is usually constant). You're no more blind on your roof.
