I've made some terrific perfumes and room sprays with this
This product certainly does the biz, and I have just mixed my first real scent (as opposed to simply adding essential oils to cologne). Not being a professional, I just blended equal quantities of musk, lemon, bergamot and cedarwood until the fragrance masked the smell of the alcohol, and produced a lovely, lasting perfume. Will be great fun trying out different mixes in future, including room sprays. For now I'm just using plastic travel spray bottles, and a small funnel, but once I have more expertise, I'll move on to pretty glass atomisers. However, just a warning, it's a highly flammable liquid, so store it in a cool place, and well out of the reach of kids. And, if you're sensitive to fumes, a mask of some kind might be in order. A very fair price, considering it includes p&p and was delivered in good time by courier. Update: I've just made up a body spray for my husband, with the emphasis on cedarwood, complemented by lemon, bergamot and a touch of black pepper. Update: if you can't afford this, a cheap litre of vodka will do the job.

If it's just a little bit cheaper.
First of all I do make my own perfumes for over a 10 years now. I tried so many other cheap brand's. After I tried that cheap one people stoped comment on my perfume which I used to be famous by. Then I came by this product which a lot expensive but he is one of the best. No need to steep as it got a minimum alcohol smile and will give an extream mix with a real note of your oils. Go for it and use it wisely. Regards

NOT suitable for perfumery
I don't know how they get away with calling it "perfumers alcohol". This product is absolutely not suitable for perfumery. Perfumers alcohol is neutral and is not supposed to have any alcohol smell. Mistral's product reeks very heavy with alcohol and you can't get rid of it. It takes months of maturing to reduce the sharp alcohol smell even by a little and even then it remains and ruins the fragrances.
