Review: Good ramp, terrible transition plate - These ramps are a good design, but the issue with them is that the metal transition plate is a straight angle to the ground. There is no curve to transition that allows a nice smooth transition from the ground to the ramp. Whenever you enter into the ramp, it's a very abrupt angle, especially with smaller tires. I contacted the company and they said nobody has complained about it, but I'm seeing multiple reviews to the contrary. I wish they would fix the transition and make it a nice smooth curve, I would buy multiple more. I told them I had plans to build two large skate parks, and that wasn't enough of a driver for them. I will either have to create my own transition plates or look for something else. It's pretty annoying. I have eight of these ramps in different configurations, and I'm having to modify them myself, which is ridiculous. In my opinion, the transition plate makes them extremely undesirable and unusable for skateboard sized wheels, despite the marketing videos of professional skaters "putting up" with the crap transition angle... Good grief.. just fix the dang transition plate!
Review: Solid ramp for my 14 year skateboarder - This is a great product. Its sturdy and heavy yet easily moveable since one side has wheels. It would be a pain to fold up after every use. We don't fold it up but have moved it to new locations. We have 100+ lb. young teenagers skating it every day and it has held up with really no sign of wear. Make sure to periodically check and tighten the bolts as they can come loose.

**Q: can you eat it**
A: I would not recommend.   It is not made of edible materials....

**Q: Is this 3 feet wide**
A: Yes - i hooked 2 together - 1 is pretty small unless you love tight kickturns.

**Q: Can a single ramp fit in the back seat of a car and a trunk of a mid sized sedan?**
A: The ramp is 48 inches wide - so check that first.  Unless your back seat folds down, I think you would have a hard time fitting it in.  Also, you would have to partially disassemble the ramp in order in any vehicle (even a SUV).  If you are thinking about moving it regularly (like to certain skate spots for a day), I think it would be a hassle to have to take it apart and put it back together again regularly - you could switch out the nuts for wingnuts to make it easier.  If you are just trying to move it once, you could take it apart and make it work with an SUV and maybe even your mid-size sedan.  Hope this helps

**Q: does this have to be bolted to the ground or anything? or does it stay in place?**
A: It's very heavy and should stay in place. Problem with this ramp is that the angle seems to be wrong. The boys have stopped using it. It seems to scare even the most experienced teenage skaters.

This is a great product. Its sturdy and heavy yet easily moveable since one side has wheels. It would be a pain to fold up after every use. We don't fold it up but have moved it to new locations. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Great Idea With Major Flaw

The materials are robust and the idea is great- skate ramps that are durable and easily stored. However, there is a fatal flaw in the metal noseplate. It has no arc, so the interface between the flat ground and the ramp is a wedge, creating an extremely harsh and abrupt transition. The ramp itself is noisy and flexes, and the metal wedge just rings its bell in a bad way. I emailed them asking if anyone had considered modifying the noseplate to make the transition smoother, and they replied saying nobody had considered it, but it sounded like a good idea. I’m posting this review in the hopes they will do it. I’d happily pay for an upgraded noseplate.
