Runs very quietly! We can run it overnight and don't hear a thing from our loft bedroom. We are happy with how tender all our meats turn out and use it 3-4 times weekly. Easy to adapt temperature or cooking time with a touch screen. Our last one (no name brand) had knobs to turn, which were quicker, but it was loud overnight...and it bit the dust. We are happier with this one.
