I like Spyderco. Bought my first one in 1982. I've been collecting and using knives for over 65 years. In that time I've gathered a couple...Hundred. And of that bunch there's five Spydercos. Now this little guy is not too big. Not too small. Easy to carry. Easy to use. Reminds me of a "snubnose" Tenacious model. Blade design has mass but not overbearing. I'm not Jim Bowie, and don't need a foot long knife. This little guy gets the job done without terrorizing uneducated people around you. Sharp out of the box. Excellent quality at an affordable price. Like I said in the title, short and sweet.

The Spiderco trademark round hole to open makes them my personal favorite, and I also prefer the inside LinerLock release system, and edge that goes clear to the handle. It hasn't quickly dulled, even on fiberglass-reinforced packing tape or cardboard. Because of the short length of this knife, it's a little more difficult to open than my others, though. It's probably just that square corner that need to wear a little. The clip seems much tighter than my other Spiderco knives, maybe because this one is chrome plated, and not stainless. The handle is not the spider-web looking one in the ad photo, but still non-slip and lightweight. Didn't really need it, but at a sale price, it still earned a spot as my EDC knife. Regrettably, it will someday embarrass my wife at the next steakhouse that gives me a dull knife, just won't be quite so obvious.

This is my EDC. I've been using this exact Spyderco knife I've carried for years. I've lost about a half dozen in that time. The blade is not the best material in the world for holding an edge, but I keep a sharpener handy at work and at home. I have more expensive knives but I lose them so often I'd rather carry one that won't make me cry if I lose it.

Its legal edc at work and stays sharp love it.

Great little knife easy to carry everywhere very sharp cuts fishing line and cleans fish easily anything that you need a extremely sharp blade for. Probably not the toughest steel though I would not try to split wood with it or anything crazy like that but it is very sharp.

I have another Spyderco with serrated blade, but somewhat large for an EDC. This knive is the perfect size. I like the solid feel of this knive. It is well made with a smooth action on opening.

I sure wouldn’t call it “lightweight “! Doesn’t feel lightweight! Otherwise, it’s fine! Bought it as it seemed a less expensive version of their Dragonfly. Which is truly lightweight. Never mind. Fine gear at a reasonable price.

Excellent tiny carry knife! Living where I do with blade length restrictions, this guy fits the bill perfectly.
