Replacement tap flow fitment
Good filter but flow rate can be too low with the baffling fitted. Good without it.

Higher flow rate of 15 l/min perfect for my needs
Had a 'water saving' aerator fitted to a bathroom basin mixer tap but due to the reduced water flow rate (6 litres per minute) the combi boiler was not kicking in to provide hot water. Replaced the aerator with this one which has a higher flow rate of 15 l/min and the boiler now kicks in fine. Problem solved and cheaper than the identical product from b and q. Easy swap, just unscrew one and screw in the other - finger tight sufficient to prevent leakage so no tools needed.

Good aerator, but not for Franke taps!
I ordered two of these for my Franke Zenith taps. I measured my taps correctly; the aerator screwed in easily but when I turned on the tap, a fine spray of water came out the sides. I removed it, put some PTFE tape round the threads and it still did the same. Unfortunately, by repeatedly unscrewing/tightening the aerator, the (soft) metal was damaged where I used the spanner. Credit to the company - a refund was sorted out quickly for the remaining undamaged aerator. However, I have given this product four stars because I have since realised that it is the TAP that is the problem - shame on Franke! (I purchased a more expensive aerator and had the same problems as above - water spray out the sides, use of PTFE tape, etc. The "harder" metal allowed me to tighten this new aerator without damaging it, but it was still very tricky). I would recommend purchasing the low price aerator as long as you don't wish to use it on a Franke tap!

Can't fault the product, it's just taking time to get used to the reduced volume of water
Our kitchen's mixer tap has been on its last legs for a while. It was leaking from the base due to an expired mixer cartridge and leaking from the head because of an expired aerator. Replacing the entire tap unit with a like-for-like tap would have cost £50-60, while the cartidge and aerator could be swapped out for around a tenner with a lot less labour required. Easy choice then. For a couple of pounds this aerator nozzle did the trick perfectly. The most difficult task was rextracting the existing aerator which has been in the tap for all 9 years of its live. It took a little pursuading, but when it finally released I was able to give the recess a bit of a clean and fit the new aerator with little further effort. It went in cleanly and the tap has worked perfectly ever since. My own grumble is that the flow of water that comes through is noticably reduced to what it used to be. That's by design, to save water, but cleaning out my 200 litre aquarium from the kitchen tap has become a lot longer task than it used to be. That isn't the fault of the aerator though, which for the cost is extremely good value.

Expected more aeration
I bought this as the kitchen tap in the house is like a pressure washer and I’m sick of being soaked. Easy to install but doesn’t really aerate the water as I expected. It does however restrict the flow (to the point that after a few days I took it off to widen the holes in the restrictor plate) Great for saving water, cheap as chips and has saved me getting soaked numerous times so overall no real complaints.

Why Pay More for a Kitchen Tap Spout Aerator?
Kitchen tap spout aerators don't ususal break. I needed another aerator that could be modified [rethreaded on the inside] to accept an ordinary hose connection so that I could run a hose from my kitchen, out my window, and into my garden. So I didn't need to spend a lot of money to test out this idea. And I didn't. This tap is just as good as my original tap and half the price of the next most expensive tap. And when I don't have my garden hose connected to the tap, it looks just like the original tap that came with my faucet. And it works exactly like the original spout aerator.

Bit of a cliche but 'did what it said on the tin!'
What can you say about tap aerators? I needed to replace the limescaled nozzles at work and it was quite a surprise when Amazon came up with suggestions after a google search. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised really as Amazon seem to stock everything in the whole world these days. Put the order in and they arrived almost before I pressed the enter key. The nozzles simply screwed on and worked a dream. Much easier than messing around trying to descale the old ones. Make sure you measure and get the right size and gender. These are the male variant so they fit INTO the tap. The only thing which would have made this even better would have been a little spanner type thing to tighten them a little. I suspect that thieving fingers will unscrew them before long as they are only on finger tight. I bought some spares just in case! So there you have it, Amazon at its best, fast delivery, good product, job done! Thanks!

Solved a big headache
We installed a basin couple of years ago but never managed to get hot water because the boiler wasn't turning on and thought was a pipe issue. After removing the aerator included we could get higher flow and the boiler was now working. This aerator is great and has higher flow that the existing one which now makes the boiler turn on and get hot water!
