Happy with Memphis 3ft single bed, no missing pieces and no big problems. Sturdy and stable enough for a 13 year old, built on a thick carpet. The supplied soft metal allen key stripped quickly, then my own soft metal key stripped, so ended up using a hardened (black) allen key. Instructions seemed daunting at first, but stick with it, it all becomes clear. I also chose to download and print the most up-to-date version from their website.

Excellent bed, super easy to put away. Missing 2 screws but we had them in the house so didn’t cause an issue! Would recommend!

Recommend you use two people; it will go together in a less stressful way. This bed is extremely well-priced and very solid, and is a godsend in our new house with its postage-stamp-sized bedrooms. The ladder is usefully located and inline, not an accident waiting to happen. There is space beneath for both the other child's cabin bed (complete with drawers) and a long desk with both children's computers on it, because as you will notice the entire left side is open and unimpeded. The fixings pack even included some spares The only reason this doesn't get five stars is because the instructions need to be rewritten. Diagrams would also help. You will get over your bafflement through the use of logic, though, and then you will find yourself with a nice,solid, locally-made bed at an excellent price.

Excellent bed and excellent quality and service. Not only do you get a bed, but tons of space underneath. We were able to put a gaming station and wardrobe under our sons, now uses his bedroom more. We were fortunate to get the limited time offer but would have happily of paid extra. Definitely requires two people to support guard rails when assembling.

The product is well packed in two boxes. One has a bundle of fixings and screws and some instructions. First things first. The instructions are terrible. Luckily I’ve assembled a lot of flat pack in my day to I got the gist from page one and moved on. The concept of the build is well thought out and easy to figure out. Once you figure out the basics and concept of the build, intuition should take over. Rant over. The pack of fixings had plenty of everything needed. In fact, it had too many of most things. I’ll never need to buy wooden dowels again 😉. The Pre-drilled holes all lined up. And they used high quality fixings. I’ve found on other flat packs that the fixings are cheap and not built to last. Leading to stripped hex or cross threads. Didn’t happen once on this. I even used a drill driver to speed things up. If you do, engage the clutch to avoid over tightening. The whole thing took a few hours to build. I needed an extra pair of hands once or twice when I was connecting the second pair of legs. The rest was plain sailing. The model I purchased has a completely vertical ladder at one end. It is quite steep. So keep that in mind for smaller kids. I’ve climbed up and the ladder takes my weight. The bed is sturdy once assembled. However, if you can, use the angle brackets to fix to the walls at the end and back side to avoid any lateral movement and flex. It’s rock solid once you do. My 6 year old daughter loved her “big girl bed”. Instructions aside, I would recommend this bed if you’re in the market for one. Especially for the money. Hope this helps

I spend long time looking at this style of bed, so my daughter (university student) has a bed for holidays at home. If I could I would give zero stars! The order came on time, but as soon as I opened the box I saw how most of pieces have ruff edges and some chipped off. I made pictures and send them off to the manufacturer. Was told that this is how they come out after cutting to size. Not even sorry. So fixed it myself. I do lots of DIY and have done many flat packs before. You do need absolutely two people if not 3 for the assembly. The instructions are ok-ish if you know what you doing. But instead of some 2-3 hours, it took around 5. The big main bollts are very low quality and are soft. So you can't use powers tools and even when done by hand the Alan key flattens the shape. So it's practically impossible the work with them. By sheer need for a bed, I did manage to sort it all out and finish the bed. My daughter came back for Xmas but didn't use the bed because it was moving like a boat on stormy see in all directions! The bed is advertised for adults and should have supported the weight easily. But I didn't feel comfortable leaving her sleep on that! Problem was even with the return as the automated Amazon message was saying to contact the manufacturer but they kept telling me to sort it out with Amazon. Thanks God that Amazon has amazing customer service and now we are waiting for a pick up and money return! So please save yourselfs lots of hassle and wasted time and don't buy this bed if you actually planning on sleeping on it! 🤣

This seems like a really good bed for the money. It arrived from the seller quickly and packaged up well. The instructions are not great so it is worth reading through them a couple of times first and sorting out all the bits and pieces before you start. However, it went together easily once I got going. It feels really stable and strong. The bed is quite high up, which is really useful as there is around 1m 40cm clearance underneath to fit plenty of stuff. But it does mean that I can barely see my son when he is up there asleep.

Lovely bed. Takes time to put it together but the instructions are very comprehensive. The Allen wrench provided is of low quality, so better have a heavy duty one. I used a power tool, it saved me so much time and effort, and I just completely tightened the bolts manually in the end. The delivery process was great.
