This bed is extremely well-priced and very solid, and is a godsend in our new house with its postage-stamp-sized bedrooms. The ladder is usefully located and inline, not an accident waiting to happen. There is space beneath for both the other child's cabin bed (complete with drawers) and a long desk with both children's computers on it, because as you will notice the entire left side is open and unimpeded.
