The otterbox company will always get my vote if they continue to run business the way they have been. The case is exactly as we expected. We've had otterbox cases in the past and they are always perfect fitting and durable. When my son did have an otterbox case for his iPhone break last year, the company had a fast and easy process for replacement according to the lifetime guarantee they give on all their cases. He simply emailed them a picture of the damage and in a few days they mailed him a replacement. In the meantime, he had to use the old case with the damage, but the crack did not present such a problem that he was not comfortable with using if for those few days.

Excellent protection for the phone. Probably would have broken it by now with out a good sturdy case. I wouldn't be with out one on my device and this is a good fit and looks good to.

Totally awesome phone case. It fit perfectly and I love the look of it and the design. Fits perfect on my new Samsung Galaxy S5 phone. I am very satisfied with this product and the price is very well worth it to me as I usually only buy 1 case for my phone to last for years.

My mother accidently drove her toyota avalon over her iphone protected by the the otterbox defender series. The phone, 100% operational! The Otterbox...had tire tread marks and indentions from the asphalt that if you inspect the Otterbox closely could be seen. While I won't be intentionally putting my phone through the "ringer" I was too impressed not to purchase one for my phone. I'm an outdoors person so the camo patterns are great. I would have given the product 5 stars but I'm not a big fan of blaze orange or the florescent green available with the camo colors. I would have preferred a subdued color, ie. Tan, Kakhi, brown, black, olive, sage, maybe even a translucent/clear. Great protection though!

I put the Otterbox [Defender Series] Samsung Galaxy S5 case on my phone the day that I purchased my phone. This case has surpassed all of my expectations. I am outside all of the time and I have put my phone through a lot. It has been dropped on concrete, blacktop, and it even fell out of my tree stand this past year while I was hunting and through all of this my phone still does not have a crack or even a scratch on it. This case also keeps water off the phone fairly well. I dropped it in the swamp last year and I thought it was a done, but I took the case off and there was hardly any water on the actual phone itself. This case is extremely durable and I would purchase this case again if I had the chance.

Phones are fragile. This device mitigated a lot of that. It's too bad that Otterbox seems to have moved away from this design for newer phones, because I still have one in use for my daughter's phone that I used for four years without issue and she continues to use after I loaded LineageOS onto the old phone for her. This model Otterbox was well done...allowing me to load Lineage onto another Galaxy S5 for my son and stretch its life out a bit.

Love it! Very durable! Easy on and off to clean it. And the best part is it isn't bulky like past models. My daughter has dropped my new galaxy s5 on tile at least 3 times now and the box doesn't even have a scratch yet. Worth the $$! Cheaper than a broken screen!!

I read the prior reviews online. People spoke of misalignment and issues getting cap off for recharging? With such a rugged case and certain damage protection, It would only make sense that the plug cap maybe a bit hard to get to but how else would you protect the phone. As far as misalignment of the case mine fit perfectly as well as my sons did so maybe some of the first outs were off a little but at that point why not contact Otter and ask for another or take it back if it was not satisfaction? No complaints here have already dropped this unit out of my truck and the case did exactly what it was suppose too and the phone is fine.
