Panasonic RF D10 DAB+ radio. Top quality Japanese audio brand. Good value. Features; large 100mm speaker driver for room filling sound (with vol set to 7 out of 12 SPL reached 70.4dB - tuned to KISS radio, neasured with Android dB app). Mains powered - standard C7 "figure 8" mains lead - with option to use x4 alkaline C batteries. All necessary features included: alarm, sleep timer, backlit LCD dot matrix display, 24 hour clock display, displays track info etc... 3.5mm stereo headphone output. 10 presets were very easy to set - just press button of empty preset whilst listening to DAB/FM station to save it! Only negatives (not for me) - no Bluetooth input, no internet radio, no NiMH battery charger mode, no colour options - black only, only one alarm. However, as I am using this as a bedroom radio I prefer that it focuses on the basics, and performs them brilliantly!!!!

Excellent little portable radio. I use it directly off the mains, so haven't needed to fit batteries. I like the large speaker which gives it a better sound than most portable radios. I also tend not to use the FM frequency so much, and mainly use DAB. I would say it's a well made, good quality, portable radio. It has 10 presets. Just what I wanted.

This just arrived, earlier than stated (nice one Amazon!), looks even better than the picture! It's so easy to operate and tune with a good clear readout, easy to see! Not very sensitive on dab but gets an interrupted signal when someone crosses the room, the meter shows no bars and cuts out sometimes! The tone is a bit sharp for my taste but an external amplifier into the headphone socket improves it really well. All in it's a nice radio and I can recommend one of these, although pricey for what it is without bluetooth etc. EDIT: Its just started raining here and very overcast, the dab signal that had no bars has just lost signal. Nothing. It'll have to be returned, nice radio, shame it's dependant on weather conditions on dab!

Great radio, c-cell batteries last ages for me, radio has good sound, great reception and is very easy to use, have bought three more for others, very pleased.

As I wanted a radio primarily for late night bedroom use at low volume I was wavering between the Panasonic and a smaller cheaper DAB radio brand by Chesterton. Although most reviews were favourable for both products a couple of reviewers had complained that the Chesterton suffered distortion noise at low volumes and that tipped the balance. I'm glad it did because the Pansonic is faultless, with clear full body sound at all volumes and on every DAB channel. I also knew from other products such as TVs that Pansonic products are usually the easiest to set up and operate. I wasn't disappointed. I had it working and had stored some pre-sets within minutes without bothering to read the manual. Another thing that put me off the cheaper model was a few reviews stating that the sound quality was not as good when used from the mains, compared to the batteries. No such issue with this Panasonic, although I haven't tested with batteries yet as they are not included.

A quality product from Panasonic. Nice design, and very well put together. It autotuned on first switching on and found all of the expected stations. It comes with a proper mains lead (or, the transformer is inside rather than having a power supply that gets lost or fails) . Have not tried battery power but it runs on four C cells which will give good life compared to the AA that most use. The sound I found disappointing for the size. It has a 100mm speaker that is very clear at the top end but with very low frequency. I was expecting full range as specified, the expectation was not bass pumping, just appropriate for size. Passed it on to a family member who will use it for talk radio, not music stations.

We bought this this for our kitchen to replace a Supermarket DAB radio which has never been satisfactory. This radio is excellent in just about every way: Lovely, clean design, very easy to use, easy to tune - all done in about 15 minutes, perfect interference free reception and the wonderful convenience of having individual buttons for every station. The only slight negative is the sound does distort a bit if you up the volume too much but it's perfectly clear and loud enough for us at normal volumes. Overall I have no hesitation in giving this radio a well deserved 5 stars as it's as near to perfect as you could possibly dream for in a radio of this type.
