TITALIUM™ Padlock 82TI/70 - Monoblock Lock for Special Areas - with Thick Hardened Steel Shackle - 24673 - ABUS Security Level 6 - Silver

Great looking lightweight (175g) lock in the Titalium line from Abus. The lock operates easily with a satisfying click and can be locked without key. Security: physically the lock is on the more secure side with a 12mm hardened shackle and thick lock body. Key parts of the body are either very thick or are reinforced with a hardened steel bolt. The core is a 5 pin core with tight tolerances, giving it some resistance against lock picking attacks. However, the lock is shim-able (see attached photograph), but the tight tolerances on the shackle bolt mean that a shimming attack takes a minute or more to execute. Overall a good lock at a good price.

Bought this for my gate and although it was a bit smaller than I expected, it is good quality and easy to lock. A bit pricey but its better buying 1 good lock than 5 rubbish locks that get stuck (so I have found) so take the hit and buy this lock as you will not regret it :-)

Seems like a good lock to me

Very well made although this company expect anything else ? Extremely strong and well made although very light from the Titalium it’s made from and the clasp is well protected from bolt cutters. Although it’s smaller then I imagined but does the job for me.

Not as big as in ad

It's not going to be pried, bumped or hammered off. Grinding, sawing and and picking are an option, but who's going to do that outside a coffee shop with the bike? Yes, there are much more capable, heavy and expensive locks. For your Panigale outside Harrods, not for you. For anything else, anywhere else, for a short stop, good enough.

Not impressed with the quality of this padlock. It has no real weight to it, feels very flimsy and the pin has stopped working properly after two weeks of use making it difficult to shut/lock. Won’t be buying again.

Really sturdy lock this one, nice weight to It and looks the part. Used on a garden shed and highly recommended
