Purchased to revive a nearly dead phone, and to simply tinker. I'd never changed one in this generation of phone. I also changed the back. I'm glad I was planning that anyway, as the phone's original adhesive was well applied. Even with the heat gun it was a struggle. The replacement seems to hold the charge well.

Easy to install! Everything was as described. If you have never replaced a cell phone battery before, this is super easy even for newbies. Price is right too.

I installed this in my phone and rather battery reset did the normal battery cycling to get the most out of the battery and then checked the stats of the battery and my phone stated the battery was only a 4300mA battery not a 5000mA as stated on the product if I could it would get no stars and I'm not paying to have this one pulled from my phone and turn around and pay again to have a new one installed phone is too old to keep adding money to it

The kit arrived with battery and all of the necessary tools to install the battery; which by the way made the installation process seems really simple. I'm extremely satisfied with the performance, thus far. I rated 4 star, only because delivery was scheduled for next day, but delivery was 3 days later and late in the evening.

The hardest step to installing this battery is removing the glued back. Follow the YouTube videos. I used a heat gun on low heat. A hair dryer on high would also work. I put the phone face-down on a kitchen hot pad and used a 2nd pad to hold the phone. I heated only a third of the bottom starting near one corner. I used a triangular blade Xacto knife to gently cut the heated glue. Once I got the point (only the pointed tip) of the blade under the cover I continued heating toward the corner until I could slowly drag the knife tip into that corner. Then I pried the back enough to insert the plastic cutting tool. I removed the knife and heated the remainder of the bottom; inserted the 2nd cutting tool and dragged it into the other bottom corner. From there it was heat - cut in steps. Once the back cover is free the rest is easy; follow the videos. I'm currently conditioning the battery (drain to 0; charge to 100; repeat). I added 2 steps prior the reassembling: clean the camera lenses and flash as well as the lens protector inside the cover; use DustOff or pure air to blow out the phone and cover. I did NOT remove the residue glue and found that it resealed the cover. A little heat would likely have helped but I use a case which keeps the cover tight.

My Moto G6 has been powered with the new battery for six days, and it's holding up thus far. Bought it, along with a Newderry charger case for extra battery life. I researched, and took notes from several YouTube videos before tackling the replacement process. The parts are small... you have to be careful with the screws and battery connector. Most importantly, don't tear the battery shell! I slowly removed the bloated battery from my phone. I didn't need to use any extra adhesive, as I was installing the phone into a new case. A bit of heat from the phone will take care of the adhesive, so everything should stick back solidly. (I was considering buying extra adhesive, but I felt I didn't need any... if that changes I know what to do. :) ) Along with the case, hope to have this for at least a couple of years!

Battery fits and works in my Galaxy s21 ultra but, nowhere near the capacity of the original battery and also nowhere near 5700mAh!! I'd say closer to 4000-4500 at most.

I can't believe the value for this product. Now - I installed my new battery yesterday using the tools, and it's only been ONE DAY, so you might take this with a grain of salt: The tools: Worth the cost on their own. Make the installation SO much easier than getting these tools separately. The screw drivers pivot relative to the base, so work GREAT via one-handed operation. The battery: I EXPECTED a worse-than-OEM battery. In one day of use, I am seeing a HUGE improvement. Qualatatively - it went from: 6-year-old battery feel - meaning my phone would go from 100% to 95% within minutes, and then generally just shut off within 30 minutes to a ~1-2 year old battery feel - meaning the battery lasts the whole day (only drained 25% in 6 hours) Overall, I recommend this product. If you think the battery should be better, you should not expect it to be this affordable! Excellent deal for the price overall.
