Your trueself understand that whatever happened, you are capable enough to feed in the love and kindness touch to calm it down. If you can accept you good and bad self, you surely be able to accept both the good and the bad of the others. This also gives you a space to grow and be more loving to other people. If you get angry and want something to cool down the flame inside your heart this is a lemonade for you."It is truely unconditional love even for yourself". True Love - A Little book of Miricals
This book came to me at a time when I really needed it to make sense of my life and who I am in relation to others. We are all connected and this inspiring and truthful little book is wise, simple to understand, caring, beautiful and breaths magic to the centre of our being. The centre also being the true love that we sometimes forget we all have and are capable of getting back in touch with. I truly love this little life saving book and would dearly want everyone to read it and gain a sense of fulfilment from these love creating words. Buy it for anyone you think may be struggling along the path of life at the moment. You may be more than pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

Dont hesitate ..
Fast delivery, packaging in tact, reasonable costs involved. The book was simple in quality, appearance and text. If your looking to understand love in this crazy world or if you have an ache in your heart that wont shift, read this as a gentle and compassionate look at love. It is also, I found, a lovely start to his other works. The book that did actually change me, (given i was READY for this) was Anger: cooling the flames the buddist way. Its not actually about anger rather than a state of mind we all find ourselves in at some point in our lifes. If your looking for a breath of fresh air in your soul - this book breathes a new perspective that will enable you to feel calm, loving and tolerant of the chaos around you :-) So - ture love is a gentle nice start, but for more answers / peace... buy it with his other book on anger.

Small book, simple message
This is a very short book; it can be read within an hour. The message is also very simple; we should love unconditionally, which is based on the philosophy of non-attachment and mindfulness. Thich Nhat Hanh applies core buddhist concepts and applies it to romantic love. It is sound advice and will probably help in any type of relationship. The only thing is the book is brief, so don't expect a long read.

A clear and well thought out self help book
This is one of several books I have by Thich Nhat Hanh. His style is simple and informative but never judgemental. He carefully and thoroughly works through what makes a relationship of any kind work and what needs to happen if it isn't working. This is not a quick fix but a way of relating to significant others. in our life. His explanation of deep listening is very useful as so few of us really know how to do it, whatever our profession, and yet it s fundamental to understanding others and being understood. Really if we can't and don't know how to really hear the other person, then there is little hope for the relationship. His compassion shines through and he reminds us that if we can be compassionate to our selves, we can be compassionate to others and so much more tolerant of what we perceive, through our own very personal filter, as their short comings. He uses examples to illustrate his point and if you want more fulfilling relationships with family , partners and friends, this is a good place to start for lay people or professionals. Highly recommended.

True Love
I agree that this book deserves more than 5 stars. This is a little gem. As soon as you begin reading you feel the Love that was put into the writing, and all the wisdom is like balm to the soul, especially if you are suffering the pain love and relationships can bring.I agree that what stood out for me was the idea of sending Love to our pain instead of suppressing or hiding it. Also the practise of sending Love in affirmation/prayers to the other person in the relationship. All in all a very valuable book. I thank the friend who mentioned it to me.This book re-affirms the world's need to practice Loving Kindness....to ourselves as well as to others.

Priceless
True love - has been the first step to saving my relationship. If you want to find healing and simple heart warming advice on how to be your own life's gardener, turning garbage into flowers, pain into understanding and love then look no further. As always Thich Nhat Hanh just finds the right way to help you look at yourself and people around you with compassion. He makes me want to take care of the pain instead of suppressing it which causes so much suffering in relationships. 5 Stars are not enough for this little gem of a book. :)

Inspiring reading for summer
Inspiring and thoughtful. Easy to understand, direct although only practice can make the difference over the long term. Along the text is possible to find out different meanings of the concept of meditation

outstanding look at / practice of love
What an outstanding booklet. True Love is our unattached love toward others through our practice, it would seem to me, of the 8 essential steps. Hanh is truly exceptional in his writing. Once in a while the translation provided a small bump in the road, but nothing that I couldn't quickly understand on the second reading of the sentence - and, honestly, very rare. The text is well organized and the author, with great ease, seems to pull you in. This could be an excellent book for couples seeking pre - marital counseling. It's not likely to be embraced by scholars of "love" and "relationships", although, it is likely to be very deeply embraced by scholars of buddhism, buddhist practitioners, and open-minded westerners seeking an understanding of an eastern synthesis of love. It's 108 pp with big enough font and spacing to make it both easy to read (for the visually impaired) and short. You might be tempted to read it quickly. Don't. Read it as you would a fine meal, slowly savoring each bite. Stop and reflect on topics that he brings up. If you don't, who will? I highly recommend this book and I give it an "A-".
