Oxford Cases in Medicine and Surgery : Farne, Hugo, Norris-Cervetto, Edward, Warbrick-Smith, James: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Really useful for clinical school - Really useful for clinical school Review: Thumbs up from the PA student - I am a massive fan of all Oxford Medical Books. As a Physicians Associate student I need to learn how to examine pts effectively, take a history and determine a diagnosis. I received this book today and so far I am really impressed by it. The layout of the book is amazing as it is the only one I have that breaks conditions into a format you would need in practice, making this book effective in viva exams as well as clinical scenarios in university. It breaks everything down into common conditions and includes case studies, viva questions and mcq questions. I think this will really help me when I go to the board exam. So far I am really happy with this book and I think it is worth the money.

One of the best textbooks for clinical year exams
This book is a must read for anyone going into clinical years of medical school. It teaches medicine from a differential perspective - which is different to most of the textbooks out there. I loved working through this and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

Great book that I used a lot in the run ...
Great book that I used a lot in the run up to medical finals. Helps you to move away from a body systems approach and really think about all causes of particular symptoms

👍🏻
Very useful for medical students' preparation for finals. Also good as introduction to clinical years. I'm still using them even after finals. Good revision book! Glad I bought them!
