I bought this for my 5 year old son and he loves it. He has asked many times for us to read it together at bedtime! Bought for a January birthday
I'm sure my great nephew will love his first book of Garden Bugs. He already loves his bugnoculars and doesn't need to be persuaded to go outside due to the weather. This book will compliment what he finds.

Perfect for 4-5 year old - just enough detail
My 4.5 year old daughter has taken a keen interest in all the bugs in the garden so i wanted a book to help her identify them and so we could learn some basic info about each one. This book is great because it it pitched at the correct level - it has big pictures and covers all the main insects while providing genuinely interesting facts without becoming too scientific. I would recommend.
