It fits perfectly after following the instructions and seems absolute solid, 100% coverage and high quality. I like how the detachable plastic lid protects the screen when the iPad is not in use and clips onto the back of the iPad when it is in use. Interestingly after a few days I got used to this protective case and now I don't even notice its there. The Apple Pencil works fine with the cases built in screen protector. My only slight criticism is the stiff rubber flap that goes over the recharging port can be a bit fiddly, you need to have the iPad screen facing away from you to see what you are doing when plugging the lightning cable in. I would imagine it would, but then I wonder if it might not be sensitive to the touch screen any longer. Doesn't hurt to purchase then return it if it doesn't work out. **Q: Will this work for the iPad Air 10.5?** A: I have it installed on two 10.5" iPad Air 2019 3rd gen. Other than a couple of unnecessary speaker holes (practically unnoticeable), due to being designed for the Pro, it works perfectly. **Q: Will this fit the 9.7 pro ? It was bought in 2017 but does not say 10.5** A: I don’t thing that the 9.7 iPad have the same dimensions that the 10.5, and in fact fits so perfect the 10.5 version that the minimum change in size wont fit the case **Q: I didn’t see a screen cover so there isn’t one ?** A: It has a plastic screen protector built in, as well as a button cover. I love it - case fits nice and rubber outer fits perfectly also. you are able to slide up and down for control centre and app merging and I think it feels nice to hold too.
