My upstairs bonus room doesn’t have vents that can close and these change everything. I’ll even slide the cover over to create a vent if needed. Easy to adjust temp but the magnets aren’t super strong and will move if they get bumped. Also my vents are on the floor not wall or ceiling so I can’t speak to how they work against gravity

Perfect for vents! These vent covers are very easy to apply and are way stronger than expected. Legit have to pull these off when ready, magnet doesn’t slide. Can be cut to fit vent size if needed. I suggest getting slightly bigger than your vent to make sure the edges can reach the very edge of your vent!

Next to my desk was a vent and every time the heat came on I'd really get it in the face. The "latch" was broken so I couldn't close off the vent and this item really solved that problem well. Just peel off the backing, slap it on there (you can even trim it) and you're DONE. VERY STRONG MAGNETS .... so this is the one that sticks. My vent was not on the ceiling. BTW

They work well. These are thicker than others I've gotten, which helps if you accidentally step on them. They magnetize to the vents well but it's not gonna stop movement or anything. The color is good - we use these on light cream colored carpet vents. You could cut these if desired. We use these to prevent cool air loss during the summer from the AC- our vents are heat-only.

I bought these with the intention of using them in a finished basement area with the vents on the ceiling for the heat and the air conditioning. The magnet itself is too heavy in weight, and not strong enough in the magnetic component to not fall from the vent

These were a little more expensive, but are high quality, fit perfect and the rounded corners look so much nicer than all the others. The boarders are much thicker making them more rigid and magnets stronger. Extremely satisfied with them for 2 rooms I don’t heat in the winter.

I like the idea of covering the vents up and rooms I don't use. I found when I did that the air flow can blow these covers,off. Good idea, needs tweaks.
