Estwing hammer 24 oz
Its a lovely hammerHeavy duty,if you need a long and heavy duty hammer this is for you.I wish the handle was better and thicker for better grip!
User
Estwing, a proper hammer!
Goes without saying but pound for pound the best all round framing hammer for quality, longevity and cost. It’s been put through its paces on the shuttering and false work, takes a pounding and going strong. This has been my go to hammer for years now, only bought another one to replace one that was stolen from me. You won’t get better for the price.

a very strong hammer, I recommend this hammer but the 24 oz.
User
Great hammer
I’ve been in construction for 15 years now and Estwing are definitely the best hammer. They’re not made as well as they used to be but they’re still better than all the others. I’ve tried a few different brands over the years but none are as good as this.

Why buy anything else?
This is THE hammer. Excellent weight, excellent weight distribution. Perfect for framing/1st fix. Last years. Do it, you won't be disappointed.

Finish not as good as my other Estwing hammers.
The finish on the plastic handle is somewhat pretty rugged to say the least.Amazon offered partial refund. Fantastic service from Amazon as usual.
