Strips size is 7 x 1.5 inches and can be cut down if necessary. In my case, I am cutting every strip into three pieces, which is very convenient. I also really like its thickness. The silicone layer is thick enough to provide nice padding for a fresh scar and minimize unpleasant irritation and discomfort but not too thick to disturb you during the wear. Medical grade silicon is sticky enough to wear the product for 12+ hours. However, after a 24-hour period I noticed that sheets are peeling off the skin on the edges. Patches are washable and you can reuse them multiple times but for me washing with just warm water and a very mild soap solution without any softener or moisturizer didn't do a good job - silicon in the edges regained some of the lost stickiness but not all of it. In my case wiping it with an alcohol solution helped a lot better. It is too early to talk about the product's effectiveness as most benefits come after months of using a silicone scar patch, but so far so good. I had ordered scar strips in 2022 that stayed on for a week even when I showered no problem I have yet to find comparable strips this time around.
