worked straight out the box and allowed me to connect a standard USB sound card to a iphone SE 2020

I wanted a decent solution to connect a handful of things to my iPad. I was willing to pay a bit more for the privilege so the photo on the listing was what I was expecting. This is what I got. Cheaply made, not even tried it yet, but I’m not hopeful. There are identical items a third of the price available. Just avoid.

I bought this USB hub specifically to connect my piano and midi controller, whilst also connecting to my audio interface. So far the first two have worked, but when connecting to Focusrite 4i4 it connects and instantly disconnects, flashing the lights briefly. I believe that whilst the hub can handle a keyboard and a midicontroller, it cannot handle the focusrite, which is disappointing.

Useless waste of money…

Con tan solo conectar a iPad o iPhone puedes leer o escribir de tus USB A Flash drives del tipo pendrive formateados en exFat (para que funcione en todos los sistemas - Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, etc). Si requieres conectar Discos externos USB A 3.0 requieres de energía externa (yo conecte un disco de 4TB pero para que funcionará cambie el cable USB C a lightning del cargador de iPad y le conecte un cable USB A a USB A machos a ese cargador y lo conecte en uno de los sockets USB A extras del dispositivo y funcia genial! Puedo hacer respaldos, ver películas, fotos o vídeos externos o copiarlos a o de mí iPad o mi iPhonesin problemas!l). Es muy importante que el dispositivo USB A este formateado en exFat si queremos tener la máxima portabilidad entre diversos sistemas operativos. Puedo cargar mi iPad con su adaptador corriente lightning conectado al hub y el hub al iPad - pero desgraciadamente no provee energía suficiente a hub para discos duros externos USB A (para estos tengo que utilizar adaptador de corriente conectado en alguno de los espacios extras USB A del hub - es decir adaptador con camble USB A a USB A machos en ambos extremos). Con energía externa vía conector USB A macho funciona perfectamente!

After purchasing several Lightning to USB-A, with Lightning pass-thru charging (aka USB Photo Adapter)… that claimed to be Apple MFi Certified over the years including a few last week, what is have found is that most of the copies of the All White Apple Adapter are just bait-and-switch and most have no clue what Apple MFi Certification even is (other than words to trick people into purchasing their garbage). This one? Is Actually the exact item in the photos, it made of actual metal, looks and feels like a quality product. It has 2 USB-A ports and a Lightning Pass-Thru Charging port. Everything just works perfectly!! My specific Use-Case is using an iPad (the last one with Lightning) to use as a PreAmp for Positive Grid BiasFX2 while powering the Positive Grid RIFF Guitar/Audio Interface with functional features in BiasFX2 output to 2 MonoBlock Power Amplifiers connected to a Guitar Speaker CAB each (2 ThunderCAB ThunderCube10’s as BiasFX2/RIFF can output Stereo). While I no longer play out, without the iPad charging while jamming, the battery drains very quickly, with this device that actually works, I no longer have to stop playing to charge the iPad back up…
