Great book with easy to follow recipes.
This is the second BBC good food book I have bought and both are for a slow cooker and I have not been disappointed, I am gluten intolerant and I find a good many of the recipes are already GF or with a few tweaks can be I'm new to slow cookers and I needed to learn the does, don'ts and timings for slow pot cooking when batch cooking as I normally only cook for myself but with these books and a big slow cooker I can have a meal ready when needed and freeze the rest in suitable containers.

Nice recipes and all the measurements and ingredients are English which is quite unusual nowadays. I will use it a lot.

Got me into cooking again with fail safe recipes
I have used this book again and again. I like that alot of the same spices are in lots of recipes and ingredients that you would mostly have or if not will use multiple times once you buy it . I love all bbc good food recipes. Fail safe

Not a "throw it all in the slow cooker" sorta book
Just bought this book for pulling my slow cooker out for the colder weather.... Im a bit disappointed- I've flicked through the book, gone through a good many recipes, and I've yet to find one that doesn't start with " heat the slow cooker if necessary. Heat the oil in a large pan then..." Just feels like ur doing the main bit of cooking on the hob then keeping it warm for 8 hours for tea time.... not really what I was after... I wanted a "throw it all in the slow cooker" sorta recipes.

Great Cook Book
I absolutely love this slow-cooker book. Great selection of classic recipes plus a few fancy ones you might not have thought of. Simple to shop for ingredients, easy to follow and produces the most delicious dishes. Family are happy.
