Unlike vanilla extract/essence which is made with alcohol infusion of the vanilla pod (which might be a no-no for some and the reason I was interested in trying an alternative) this product is made with only a % of extract (so I see that as at least some reduction in the alcohol content) with lots of vanilla seeds (see picture of vanilla paste added to some cake icing, giving your cake/icing the look of having used a vanilla pod) and a sweet taste.
