A quality drill bit that has been useful for many a DIY job. It is well made and sharp and easy to use. It is accurate and will fit most drills.

£15.02 Ordered April 2024 Finally had to replace my old Bosch bits and it is nice to see their quality is maintained. Although not used much as yet - so far, just as good as previous Bosch wood bits - I can't say that the double-flute is a massive improvement [Bosch didn't think it necessary to use double-fluted pictures for all the shots on Amazon's page], but I wasn't drilling through anything onerous. I won't say much about the drilling experience other than they're all you would expect - quick and easy with a smooth finish [10mm and 6mm used so far]. All the bits run true. A point [no pun intended] to note, Bosch's points on their wood bits have always been straight and consistent quality - they remain so here and it helps greatly before starting to drill. The only negative - the box seems an unnecessary faff to open and I have a couple of [same design] Bosch boxes that no longer have the clear lid due to the hinge breaking. Highly Recommended

Used only on softwood so far, but in that application they have worked faultlessly. They hold the line perfectly, cut with little effort and produce a good clean hole with little rip out at the fa's side too, almost zero with a sacrificial piece of wood drilled into on the far side. The case protects the bits well. A little difficult to get in to the first time, but then a nice action once you get the hang of it.

A very reasonable price for a good set of drills. Of course, not the best quality, but a cut above the average rubbish. Durability is the major downside in many wood drills, and these are better, but still have something to be desired. I would rate these as first fix drills, though, because of the way they pull in to the wood. There is a very strong pull, which can be quite difficult to control and consequently destructive. Recommended.

Hello. Stop looking for a cutter to drill with, do not buy a flat bit for a few pounds, buy this one! I am richthepostman l-l-l-l and I had been using a modified flat drill bit for a few years and I was always dissatisfied with how it cuts into my fence posts but this drill bit cutter is AMAZING! It requires NO EFFORT at all to cut into the end of my fence posts on my pillar drill. The waste wood is easily ejected and it does not affect the cutting ability. Stop reading and just buy it as you won't regret it 😁👍. This is the best drill bit I can find to drill clean straight holes in 50mm thickness (for bench dogs). I tried an auger type bit but the screw lead-in snatches terribly and stalls the bench drill! I tried a Forstner bit, but while it drilled cleanly without snatching it wandered with depth even in a drill press. Flat bits a likely to wander too. This is the best bit for deep holes. May need a bit of oil to stop it squeaking in hardwood. The shaft diameter is 9.9mm (nominal 10mm), which fits most chucks.

Once you realise you have to break off the little security tab on the back, the rugged case is easy to open, closes securely and should survive the rigours of the toolbox. There are better drill bits at more than twice the price but they are not necessarily more than twice as good. I have used these on ply, pine, sycamore, oak and maple in both cordless and pillar drills. They came really sharp and cut cleanly and accurately. The range of sizes covers most of my needs.

la punta già la conoscevo, e devo dire che sono veramente ben fatte! Riesci a fare fori dentro il legno, ma anche dentro truciolato, ben dritti e con uno scarto di materiale ottimo!!! Tra l'altro scalda anche poco, io la utilizzo per fare i fori in mensole e montargli così reggimensola a scomparsa anche dove non previsti!!! Amazon sempre al Top!!
